Here's some more advice, especially if you're going to use sprites for mock-ups or ROM hacks: the orange, skinlike, and red shades should not be altered, as there are objects that use those colors. Oh, and you can only use 15 colors with RGB values varying from 0-224, but it must be a multiple of 32 as well. If it's 32X, then it's multiples of 8 and max being 248. 0 is also a value that can be used.
