[It's a little short but I like it]

It was another morning at the (L/n) Manor and there were many things on the schedule to do. With a small silver cart, an ebony haired male was making his way to his master’s quarters. Once arriving at her door, he gave three soft knocks before entering the room. There, sleeping peacefully under (f/c) satin sheets, he spotted a mop of (h/c) hair sprayed out on the pillow. The short man gave a hint of a smile before pushing the cart to her bedside and sliding the curtains open for the sun to shine though, making the dim room bright. A tired groan was heard from the bed as the woman shifted to block the harsh light from her eyes.

“My lady, it’s time to wake up” her butler said.

With a yawn, a sleeved arm made its way to her face to rub the sleepiness from her eyes as she sat up. Running her fingers through her (h/c) locks in an attempt to somewhat make it less knotted, she looked over at her handsome butler before giving a tired but soft smile.

“Morning, Levi” she hummed.

“Morning, miss. This morning’s breakfast contains a couple pieces of toast accompanied with a sunnyside up egg, some sausage, and orange juice” Levi said as he set the tray across her lap on the bed.

“Thank you” she said before taking a bite of toast.

“Later, you have a meeting with Mr. Pixis in regards of the Orphanage you opened in Germany as well for Earl Braun to come visit about your future wedding” he read from his small agenda book.

She gave a quiet sigh of disapprovement. Reiner Braun, earl of the Marley Company, was so perverted towards her. She did not love him but her late father wanted her to marry so their companies would combine and help more people. She was already helping everyone she could with the wealth that she has, but if the public were to find out that her heart belonged to another man, who’s not of a wealthy family, would bring her reputation down to an all time low. To be honest, she doesn’t care about reputation or wealth. All the money she’s been given, due to her successful company, had all been going to families and children in need. Taking a of her drink, the young woman turned her gaze to Levi before she spoke.

“Please limit the amount of booze Pixis will probably ask for. I really do not want another repeat of last times meeting” she shuddered.

Giving an amused smirk, Levi nodded “Of course, miss.”

“And how many times do I have to tell you to call me (Y/n)?” she smiled.

“It’s a force of habit. I shall go get Sasha to help you dress while you finish eating, (Y/n)” he hummed.

A soft blush scratched at her cheeks when he had said her name so fluently from his lips. Watching him leave her room, she gave a warm smile as her heart thumped hard against her chest.

She was in love with her butler.

~Timeskip; Your POV~

I tried to restrain myself from utterly punching Reiner where the sun don’t shine. What went from harmless yet vile flirting led up to him squeezing my rear. ‘What did my father SEE in this perverted man?!’ I thought angrily.

Giving a frustrated sigh, I tried to let it go. But that thought soon went away when I felt his hand grab my rear once again. Raising my hand, I go to slap him but a hand caught my wrist and Reiner was suddenly knocked to the ground with a pained groan. Looking behind me, my eyes met a furious Levi glaring down at the tall man.

“You made Miss (Y/n) very uncomfortable with your dirty hands. You will not touch her like that again” he growled venomously.

This was one of the many reasons I fell in love with Levi. He always protected me from Reiner or any other male that tried to put their hands on me in vulgar ways. My heart swelled from the action he had just performed before seeing Reiner slowly getting up onto his feet. Grumbling profanities under his breath, he turned his heel and walked off towards the entrance of the manor, probably to go home. Giving a soft hum, I turned towards Levi and smiled.

“Will you ever let me have a chance to smack him?” I asked playfully.

“I would but I wouldn’t want you to hurt your hand. Plus, I enjoy punching him. I don't like how he treats you” he said before taking one of my hands to give a soft kiss on the back of it.

If my cheeks weren’t already pink, I’m sure they’re probably a dark color. Giving a pleasant hum, I reached out to hold his other hand, which he accepted by wrapping his fingers around my own.

“My lady...if people were to see us like this-”

“I don’t care. That’ll be my problem if and when the time comes. I do everything for the people who need help, let me be selfish for once” I cut him off as I stepped closer so our noses touched.

Knowing he probably sensed the type of atmosphere that was between us, Levi gently tapped my forehead with his as one of his gloved hands reached up to stroke my cheek. Feeling him tuck some hair behind my ear, I sighed in content as my eyes closed. I felt happy and safe in his arms and I want it to stay like that forever. I smiled and opened my eyes as I felt his hands slip around my waist. Bringing my own to rest on his chest, I watched him lean closer before our lips met in a soft and loving kiss. He tasted sweet yet bitter like the earl grey tea he had this morning. Moaning softly against his lips, my arms found their way around his neck as he flushed my body against his protectively. As we parted slightly for air, I gave a small giggle, my heart soaring from the sight of his lips curled into a slight smile of his own.

“I love you, Levi.”

“I love you too, (Y/n)” he hummed as he held me in his arms.

At this, the wind blew, making flower petals dance through the air around the new couple as they embraced each other while the sun was starting to set in the horizon.
