Story BG: Redesigning and rewriting my Steven Universe story Defect:Star Rebels. New Homeworld is a planet far in another universe and ruled by Grey, Red, Green, and Champagne Diamond. After Brown Diamond was shattered her subjects were enslaved, imprisoned, or shattered. Star Sapphire takes in and saved defective gems on New Homeworld. After he finds out that Grey Diamond is going to shatter all of his defective gems, he manages to get off planet with some, but not all of them as they did not run fast enough to not be caught in a fight with the Diamonds' courts. They landed on a planet called Terra that is a similar but more dangerous environment than Earth and inhabited by a stronger species similar to humans called Terreans.Basic Information

Wit(White Pearl)
Lazuli was unimpressed with his first meeting with White Pearl. He took the other's affection as a joke for the most part and brushed off Pearl's pursuits. He ended up spending most of his days with the persistent gem and was shown many wonders of Terra. Eventually he considered Pearl a friend and it took him a long time to figure out that he had fallen in love with Pearl. He had an existential crisis over it but eventually accepted his feelings for the other.
Star Sapphire
Lazuli respects Star and would die for him. Star saved Lazuli from being shattered by Grey and took him in. He's currently having trouble deciding whose his top priority Star or White Pearl, and feels a little bit of guilt to say for certain that he would still die for Star if needed when he wants to live for Pearl.

I forgot to edit my comment to tell you that. She is a neutral gem after she ran away from homeworld. She ended up on a planet that exists as a court ran by one of my other gems. She became a bodyguard for an important gem.
I was thinking how they met was your gems or my gems came to the others planet and Lazuli met Aventurine. Then after meeting I was thinking they became friendly rivals.
