Description
I started this picture a while ago, so if it looks old that would be because it is old. ^^Just a picture of the eight-legged horse Sleipnir, the wolf Fenrir(?) and the two ravens (can't remember their names). I think they're like children of Odin or some Norse god. Hahaha. I just wanted to try out the whole eight-legged horse thing. ^^
Placed in scraps because it's really not that good.
EDIT: The ravens' names are Maninn and Hugin! Thanks Bryn!

Haven't drawn a sleipnir for so long(I even forgot how you spelled its name XD). Must try again sometime soon.
But anyway, you did a great job with the eight legs and I love the wolf. Great work on the shading too!

uhm, Hugin and MUNIN, though I'm not sure if it's something else in English. Their names mean 'the thought' and 'the memory', and they're the messengers of the king of the gods, Odin, who also happens to be the god of death. (well, one of them...)
the name of the wolf is correct, and both he and Sleipner are the children of Loki, who is the god of lies and politics (love that guy ^^). though strangely, he's the mother, and not the father...
OK, enough from the mythology-nerd
it may be old, but that doesn't stop it from being lovely ^^ I like that you didn't colour it, it keps the picture looking sorta olden times-ish, which is a good thing, consedering the characters ^^

Sleipnirs rock! I wonder how they move-someone once suggested that one set of legs trot while the other set of legs canters.

The ravens' names a Maninn - Memory, and Hugin - Thought.
Very nice work with the eight legs on the horse!

You're welcome!!
The ravens were like Odin's spies kind of. They went out and observed the entire world, and every evening they would come and sit on his shoulders and tell him what had happened that day.

Nice! I like creatures like that. ^_^
As for the ravens, I think their names translate from the Norse (which I can't remember) into Thought and Memory. Oh, and in the legends, they're white. I know. Doesn't make sense--white ravens. But meh.
And I don't think they're the sons of Odin. They're mainly pictured sitting on his shoulders, yeah? So I think they're more some companion types. *shrugs*
But I could be very wrong. So I'll hush now.

Haha, me too! ^^ The unusual is always interesting!
Oh, darn. I probably should have reasearched that. They definately would have been easier to shade XD
