I just got back from my vacation and I had this vision in my head of Rio racing across the ocean and MAN it was so strange and refreshing to make one of these again! Guys I'm so happy with how it came out!!I seem to have broken the seal of my art block.

it's like the most perfect mix of photograph x painting i've every seen i think ??
it has this very lively and gritty core , the textures just make the energy ooze out of Rio
and that water, ughhh, mind-blowingly beautiful and realistic
this is completely a medium of its own and it's sooo you
the creamy sky and ocean, with her wild mane ~ even the little eyelash details mmmh
one of my favorite works of art rn, not just from you, but in the whole world

thank you so much!!!!!! I donned my pencil brushes in this one to add texture, but also the stock horse happened to have a denser coat so i just built off of that, hehe
