but I can't swim anymoreI am proud to present to you the dual-faced power-couple, Ravelin and Alias! This was a kiriban caught by Poisons-Kiss and Esveeka .
I've been working on this non-stop for the past couple days, and I'm finally finished -- at the end, I am really happy with how this turned out, and I really hope you guys like it too!! I pushed myself to improve especially with colour changes, and I'm reaching a very comfortable place in my art.Β (ALSO forgive me, all the references for Ravelin had her black face on different sides so I just did what worked best???)
edit 2: made shadows softer and belly reflections woooo
edit: it was bothering me so much how the mane covered ravelin's ears
AND WITH THAT I AM FINISHED MY TO-DO LIST I'M GOING TO CRY
(I needed to clear it before September)

I didn't draw them no (I wish!!) This is a photomanipulation, it involves taking stock photos supplied by stock providers, cutting the horses out and placing them on a new background to create a whole different environment / scene

this site is soo confusing im seeing such beautiful art. but how do i cut the pictures out to put on a diffrent background. im trying to make layouts. with pics.

oh! there are a lot of awesome tutorials and resources on this site, you can type in "manipulation tutorial" (cutting out pictures on a different background is called photomanipulation) and get a whole bunch of results!! Here are a few basic ones about how to get started that I found for you (assuming you want to go into equine / manipulating horses):Β

Thank you! And there are actually two horns, one in the forehead and a smaller one lower down on the face! The front-face view does make it look like one big horn though, I agree!

No problem!! Photoshop is great if you're willing to spend the money, but I know that you can get a program similar to it called Gimp for free. Just run a google search and you'll find it!
