Thank you ScrubHimeArt for challenging me to this! Thank you also AbigailLarson for the tutorial !

The challenge was actually to post a 'WIP' done while following along with the tutorial. My drawing/arts, especially pixie wings, are always a WIP so I decided just to do this tutorial style... At least this time Lily got equal time to Chenelle in the Limelight!!!

I agree there is nothing new in my tutorial that she did not cover. But I agree and want to emphasize her points that often drawing hinges on 'the basics' (basic shapes, basic shading, etc). Don't get me wrong, I have MANY books on drawing saying nearly the same things. But I (and I suspect many) sometimes have to hear it a few different ways before it is really clear. And reading others thoughts while seeing how they do things is equally inspiring as well as educational.

The only other 'tutoring' I have is it is more important to represent something than to make a photo realistic copy of something. I've made some really crappy looking art that somehow really looks good and is liked by many. Why? Because the 'feeling' of that piece and its genuine representation shines through. Don't aim for perfect- aim for fun and genuine. There is nothing more lovely or handsome than genuine.

Lastly, the best tutoring on pixie wings comes from all of the people whose work is in the journal and also the piece done by Lostrelli (that I mention separately because the journal has become so large I cannot update it to link to her piece in it.)

I truly thank ALL of you who have made reflections of Lily and Chenelle and all of my OCs! I look at all of them a LOT and truly love them all.
