Here's my Entry for the Dark Shadows contest.When I heard that Tim Burton was going to see some of these entries, I had to give it a shot. I'm such a huge fan of his films and style.
I tried going a more "Dark" route for this since I really like the horror and dreary look in a lot of Burton's films.
Hopefully you guys dig it

Its a great concept, and i see what your going for, however its a tad too dark. I would lighten it up just a bit. I know, i have the tendency to go dark too, most everyone does. But if this was printed youd see nothing but black. A good trick to see if its too dark is, look at you monitor from a low angle or tilt your monitor. Right now, its a cool drawing, just there is no punch line, no finisher. There is only dark, and then darker. If you wanna keep it darke, maybe and a extra lay of light to hight the area thats already lit. That goes for the clothing as well.

Hey, appreciate the critique there, my work tends to look dark to other people's monitors a lot because my monitor is very bright in comparison (especially to macs), but I went and added a lil levels adjustment to Barnabas, hopefully that helps
