I like that you made a shape out of the poem. The poem itself, the tone and ending of it, makes me a bit sad for the future. I somewhat agree with you about the way people expect the commercial presentation of love to be what they're really going to get, but I have hope that sensible people will realize that fiction might get boring if it was full of the very small miracles lying around in the real world; fiction needs more drama than that to keep people interested, generally.
