Description This was taken last summer at Alton Towers theme park in the UK. The ride you see in the distance is 'Oblivion', a 180ft high vertical drop rollercoaster that travels underground and then pops up again on the other side of the 'X Sector', an area within the park.

I wouldn't call it amazing, as its a photo with bustling people in it. Though yes i enjoyed that ride in alton towers, but Air is better.

Air is pitiful! Sure, it makes you feel like you're flying but it's still breaking down. Last year i went, queued for 30 mins for the front and then it broke down. I went and rode Nemesis instead.
There is another ride of the same type as Air in the US, and that's been running fine. I can't see how Air is still breaking down!

Wow, thats awesome! I LOVE rollercoaster rides! Went to Six Flags last summer and took a ride on the Superman..wow, should have saved that one for last..haha Cool pic!

I really want to get over to the US to ride some big coasters. My favourite ride of all time is Nemesis at the same park as that photo was taken. It is an amazing ride, you fly past rocks, through tunnels and everything at really high speeds.

Nice, thats awesome! I've seen pics of Nemesis on the Travel channel or something like that before. Looks really cool. Yeah, rides over here aren't too shabby. (I'd stay away from Disney World though..nothing too exciting there) I like Six Flags the best, they always have the best rides. I remember when I was younger my brother and I rode the mini-dragon 47 times in a row!! the place was dead so the guy running the thing was like, whatever, ride as many times as you want. That was cool...too funny
