This page went quite well but the light contrast colours I tried in the last panel are abit to much, something to remember I suppose. Its a shame as the rest of the page went well, even if the grass in panel one is bending the wrong way (cannot un-see!), but hey, at least AJ looks cute in panel 3, I can live with it.Cover: [link]

...this is fantastic. Pacing is a little quick (though, I pace all my work at a snail's speed so I'm a bit biased), but the artwork is downright beautiful, especially considering its all done traditionally! Fav'd and Watch'd, looking forward to more!

*Nod* I actually rewatched the pilot the other day and was struck by how dark it actually was... I mean it's still pretty light and fluffy, it's about talking ponies for goodness sakes, but they weren't as scared of disturbing their child audiences then, so they did bigger stuff. I can see why Faust wanted to bring that essence back.

Theres alot of restrictions on media in general, let alone those aimed at kids. The fact MLP not only manages to maintain such a high standard but actually developes its characters and story is why I love the show as much as I do, same for Adventure Time. Maintaining the status quo in shows aimed at a universal audience really aggravates me, one of the reasons I can't fully enjoy The Simpsons or Family Guy.

Yeah, my releases are abit all over the place as im finishing up uni. I got the name from a geology text book and I only add my own OC's if I need them for the plot (which I try to keep to a minimum) but if you send me a link to your OC i'll put her in some background shots of Ponyville if you like.
