Description
Characters reprise their role in the new series. Donkey Kong has returned as previously mentioned, but his powers are draining while they last. Meanwhile, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Link, and Zelda find their zords frozen and turned against them. They would come in perfectly fine, but their Zords become broken and shattered as the arrival of their new enemy comes to town. Their zords get replaced with the Thunder Zords. No matter! They keep their powers as it is. Meanwhile, Donkey Kong had a dream that his powers were losing. Since that dream, Gruntilda stopped at nothing to make sure that his dream would become a reality. She therefore works hard to drain DK's powers until he becomes green no more. He fights, and fights, and fights like an awesome ape until his powers completely wear off. He then retires on a vacation for a while at DK Island.

Mario seems a bit angered because he did not stop the magic candle from draining DK's powers almost completely. Fighting in a tournament, Mario becomes distracted and has to maintain his morale and patience as the team leader. After receiving a note from DK, Mario goes winning the Karate Tournament for the ape and wishes him fair well. After a long vacation, DK announces his return and the original NES team plan a surprise welcome party for his grand return. However, their surprise is not as much as DK's surprise as he returns as the White Ranger.

So, after a couple of filler episodes featuring the original Rangers, there comes a new multi-parter episode called The Rare Encounter, where three contestants show up and show off their moves. Let's meet them now: Banjo and Kazooie, Diddy Kong, and Dixie Kong. During their character development, they see a little baby Yoshi strolling down the street as the three new characters move ahead to save the baby. They eventually saved him and proven themselves worthy. After a couple filler episodes starring them, there is a multi-parter where the original six rangers journey to planet Mobius to find the lost sword there. They found it and returned safely to the Mushroom Kingdom where Mario passes his powers onto Banjo and Kazooie, Luigi passes his powers to Diddy Kong, and Zelda passes her powers to Dixie Kong.

Diddy Kong, the lovable bad ace little monkey, is unfortunately left with some of the lamest zords imaginable.

So, cut to a while later and we see the new rangers coming together, being Donkey Kong, the White Ranger, Diddy Kong, the Black Ranger, Peach, the Pink Ranger, Link, the Blue Ranger, Dixie Kong, the Yellow Ranger, and Banjo, the Red Ranger, for a really big budget epic movie in between the series where they would receive the new Perfect Dark zords, which they use throughout the following season.

Another series of episodes follows, and Donkey Kong first approaches the Zeo Crystal Coconut. Many episodes follow, featuring that as the Zeo Crystal Coconut eventually shatters throughout place and time. Eventually, the Rangers would have to go out and find it.

However, in the meantime, a new cute pink bubble (something like Kirby as Pauline) shows up to cuddle the Rangers. She was evil at first, but after a while, after a freak accident that caused Peach's injury to occur, she entrusts her powers to this pink and fluffy thing that reveals herself to be Pauline. She acquires the powers and continues onward as the Pink Ranger.

Next, we have a miniseries, where the Rangers get shrunken down to their child size. Link, however, uses the Ocarina of Time to change himself back to grown-up form and helps out with the Alien Rangers with their work, as the other Rangers go to their distant places in search of the Zeo Crystal Coconuts.

Donkey Kong goes to the DK Island. Diddy Kong goes to Timber Island. Banjo and Kazooie go to the spiral mountain or whatever. Dixie Kong goes to a fortress somewhere. And we have Kirby, going to the Dreamland.

They return, however, but just in time for the Command Center blows up.
