WOW...it's been so long since I last entered a contest just for the fun of it
This is for 's Twisted Fairy Tales contest
[link] The idea is to create a different version of a known fairy tale. In this version of Sleeping Beauty she doesn't prick her finger on the spindle, she cuts her wrist with it
(well this way she'll defenitely sleep forever... 
*sarcasm*)Why is this based in the Disney characters? Because I love Disney, so it's a 2 in 1
oh and the 'make it blue/ make it pink thing'? Maleficent makes it PURPLE 
I'm quite satisfied with this for many reasons: it's something more dark than my usual art, it's a fanart of my favourite disney movie and it's the first work I'm doing after I finished the writing of my thesis
I'll defend it in October so I still didn't get rid of college for 100%, but the worst part it's done and I'm starting to get my personal life back
(well at least a little bit, since I'm going to Angola again next week in business

But I don't like the way you seem to joke about it in the description. Suicide is very serious matter..

It's not meant like that. This is twisted humour as for instance the corpse bride's, of course it is not meant to be a joke about the suicide issue. I could have drawn Aurora as murderer who kills the 3 good fairies...and it would got nothing to do with the homicide issue neither, since it's just dark art. I'm sorry if it made you feel otherwise.
