That was shot with an Orion 8" f/3.9 newtonian reflector, with a Canon EOS 60D camera with a Tele Vue Paracorr 2 coma corrector. Mounted on an Orion Atlas mount.

Thanks for the info. It is a n amazing shot. I have been given a basic telescope not so long ago. And have been trying to fit a webcam to get just a simply moon shot. But the camera self set it's own brightness, so over exposes, and the quality is poor. So gone back to my Canon dsl and a 250mm lens and a 3x converter. I could not believe even with a cheap scope you can see Jupiter and some of it's moons. And out of the blue Saturn complete with rings.
Thanks for inspiring me keep up the amazing shots.
