Very nice idea to make an image in a coffee cup. And the realization is also a good work.
You could try to accent the cup and the coffee above all your dragon. Maybe you could blurr the background and use a table or bottom chord with a lighter grain.

The hard part was creating the free poured base. The etched portion is fairly easy.
