Making Fiends sure was a show! In all honesty, I loved the Making Fiends online web cartoons and had never actually seen the show... Until this randomly popped up in my recommended. So for those who don't know, Making Fiends (both the web-show and the short lived NickToon) are about two little girls: Vendetta and Charlotte. Vendetta's an evil girl who makes monsters called fiends and Charlotte basically gets up in her grill by being nice and clueless all the time. As such, Vendetta will often send her monsters after Charlotte and fail to kill her each time.

Think of it like this: It's what happens if you made a show about Pinkie Pie trying to befriend Rita Repulsa from Power Rangers. That's the general gist of what this series is! And it's great... It also has this episode that is just insane and I love it. Basically, in the episode "Smash", Vendetta and Charlotte get smashed together by a fiend designed to Charlotte.

Shit gets even wilder when said fiend then mashes them together with Grudge, Vendetta's giant fat hamster monster. And gosh, that is a fun idea! Leads to a few fun jokes, but sadly they do this in a short that last 6 minutes and right near the end. I feel getting stuck as a two-headed hamster for an episode would've been more interesting and fun, but that's just me!

So, the Fiend ends up storming off and Vendetta and Charlotte are now stuck this way. Vendetta's solution? SUICIDE. Yes... I'm serious. She decides to fly a kite during a thunderstorm in an attempt to end her existence of being stuck to Charlotte forever, but thankfully it just separates them instead. I know what you're thinking: "Well, that's dark!" But honestly, that's just how the show is at times. It gets very dark and cruel at times with its implications or jokes.

Regardless, this was generally a fun episode and it sucks the show only got 6 eps. While the web series is good too, the show seems to expand the characters and lore quite a bit. And plus, gotta give it up for hamster TF. I love it so much!
