Thank you! Sometimes I get a lucky shot in because they usually run off into the brush as soon as they see me. It's actually a good thing, but it does mean I have to have a quick trigger finger!

We don't have coyotes here but where I used to spend my summers, in Vermont, they seem to thrive. On all of the hikes I went on there I never came across any but at night you could occasionally hear them further up on the mountain. They'd be howling and yammering to each other. Especially on bright moonlit nights. Very cool but a bit chilling actually.
