Humming birds are beautiful! They may be feisty, but they would be magical to watch. Rainbow lorikeets on the other hand are quite the bullies! I get them in my backyard and they chase away the other birds! lol

Always! I love color and high contrast! There are so many outstanding nature photographers it's hard to compete so I am always curious how to find a slightly different perspective and feel with my shots. It was very dark outside due to lots of rain and cloud cover so I knew I would have a challenge in post when I took this shot. ThisΒ image was a bit of a throw away because this guy zipped past my head and landed on a branch near me for a few seconds and gave me just enough time to capture this disapproving look aimed my way before he flew off again.
