Gorgeous! Was this taken against an overcast sky or did you photoshop the background? If so, how did you get your camera to overexpose the background so much? I love how aggressive he looks, almost as if he's daring someone to come pick a fight (and knowing hummingbirds, that's probably not too far from correct

Overcast skies so my real battle was with the hummingbird being underexposed. Thankfully this little guy didn't mind me taking photos (some of them do like the ones at my house) so I was able to play with shutter speed, matrix and ISO settings. It's too grainy for my personal liking but his pose was too nice not to post.
Yep he was being territorial though in this bit he was just stretching out his wings. But these little guys sure can fight o.o"
