Description
Work for local contest - "Cheburashka returns" (Cheburashka is a famous Russhian cartoon character). First I've decided to merge Minnie Mouse and Cheburashka to do female version of this character. Later I changed concept under impression of Range Murata works.modelled in ZBrush, rendered with MentalRay

Yes, I use Maya.
I studied MR with Russian tutorials so they won't help you. Then there was some googling. I think Gnomon tutorials would be great for you.
