Description
Characters of Phantasy Star III, for Sega Genesis. These are the characters of the second generation, following the Layan path. They are Mieu (front center), Sari (left), Ayn (back middle), Thea (behind Mieu) and Wren (right).

I did the first sketch with pencil and cleaned the trace with a fine tip pen. I was paiting it with Photoshop, and I thought it looked so ordinary, so I decided to throw in some filters for the hell of it. Since the original idea was to make it look like a portrait, I tried to make it look like a very old picture from Ayn's memories photo album or something. Covered it in a transluscent layer of sepia.
