There is no option to remove it from the group, not on the Deviation page i mean... I try to remove it directly from the group gallery, but the edit button on the deviation seems to be broken... The only other thing i can think of is to ask the person if they can remove it themselves, but i really don't wanna hurt their feelings... The image is fucking creeping me out though, and i REALLY want it OUT of my group! I think im gonna cry if that horrid thing doesn't get removed soon ;;
Please help? Is there any other way of removing it?

well this was a tutorial on how to remove your own deviation from a group...i didnt notice how a little misleading the title is orz
its definitely possible to remove a deviation from your own group
go to gallery and go into the folder its in, hover over the thumbnail and a little pencil icon should appear. click on the icon and click 'remove from folder'
and thats it

Thank you for the comment, DA seemed to be seriously glitching out that day, luckily i just was able to remove it yesterday. For some reason the edit button on the image was not clicking, like i'd click it and it'd just freeze, no other reactions -w-)

This is no longer how to remove a deviation from a group. It's done by click on the the groups it's submitted to on the right side of the page; when you mouse over the group's icon the pencil button shows up; click the pencil button to remove the deviation.

I found this a great help, and have used it to claim back some of my submissions from mean-spirited art-stealing groups of lairs and users.
Thanks for the advice.

Do you know how to do this in the new layout? Only my own groups are shown when I tried this.

Hi,
I just tried this also and got the same thing you mention. What I found was that it's now done by click on the the groups the deviation is submitted to on the right side of the page; a box will pop up showing all the groups the deviation is in; when you mouse over the individual group's icon the pencil button shows up; click the pencil button to remove the deviation.
Hope this helps.

You can remove a member's deviation from your group by going to the edit option of the deviation thumb, just like you would do to switch folders. The "remove from this folder" option will remove it from the group if the deviation is in only one folder. If it is in two folders, then it has to be removed from both folders, but once that is done it is gone from the group

Sorry, I was unclear, this tutorial isn't correct anymore, not your group admin instructions.

Phyllis, best as I can tell, this is no longer how to remove a deviation from a group. It's done by click on the the groups it's submitted to on the right side of the page; when you mouse over the group's icon the pencil button shows up; click the pencil button to remove the deviation.

I had figured that one out a while ago when I wanted to remove some devs from a group I was no longer a member of. It was not fun figuring it out either... I accidentally got the "pencil" to show over the group when going over the deviation page to see if there were instructions on how to remove group submissions. Wouldn't it be nice if dA's instructions were just a bit clearer?
