Yeah, I love the 'scratchy era' when Disney used a much more sketchier animation style. You can really see the work put into each individual drawing. I love the 'renaissance era' too, but the animation feels a bit too clean and smooth to me. Still fantastic, but not my favourite...

Oh you mean films like "Junglebook", "Aristicats", "Robin Hood" etc. ? Yup, I get what you mean, although one of my fav Disney films ever is Lilo and Stitch. But I think I am the only one who actually likes the 3D animated era best. Everything since "Tangled" was either hugely successful or just really really good. I was not a huge fan of "Frozen", but "Tangled", "Big Hero 6" and "Zootopia" were all really great movies, all among my all time favs in terms of animation. The way I see it they are having a new Rennaissance era.Β

I've seen every 3D Disney film except 'Tangled,' but I hear good things about it. Also, how do you feel about Disney making live action versions of it's classics lately? I was a little "meh" at first, but I'm pretty hyped for 'Beauty and the Beast.'

Junglebook was pretty good, but I didn't see the Tarzan remake for example, and it wasn't well receaved either if I recall correctly. I did hear about John Favreau (who also did the Junglebook remake) returning for the Lion King Live action adaption though, which might turn out good, too. Nothing exceptional though if you ask me... Besides, when it comes to Disney movies (as in movies made by Disney, Marvel and Star Wars films do not count

Yeah, Marvel movies don't interest me that much. To me, they all feel the same. The only Marvel movies I like is the original Spider-Man trilogy, purely for nostalgia.

Tastes will differ on that I suppose. I for one like marvel movies for being NOT the same all the time. Guardians of the Galaxy is a sci-fi comedy (you don't get a lot of these anymore), Ant-Man is a break-in thriller/comedy, Captain America Winter Solder is an action/spy drama, Thor is mythical/high fantasy, to name a few. They really cover different genres, all in one shared universe. But then again, they always bring the twist with the super powers/super heroes because that's what it's all about in the first place. And you really need to like that to begin with, so your opinion is absolutely legit.

Yeah, or maybe it's just bad experience. The last Marvel movie I saw was Avengers Age of Ultron, which was quite dull in my opinion. I wish the Hulk had more movies, since his film career hasn't been too great. Plus he's one of my favourite Marvel heroes, along with Spider-Man, which are my favourite Marvel movies.

You know what, I completely agree about Age of Ultron, it's one of the worse MCU movies for sure, alongside Iron Man 2, Captain America 1 and Thor 2. But there are also gems, the first Avengers movie and Iron Man 1 hit all the right beats when it comes to the goal the movies wanted to achieve, while Cap2 and 3 were both incredible, bordering on action masterpieces if you ask me. I guess there's always hits and misses

I'll be honest, the only Marvel movies I've seen are Spider-Man 1-3, Amazing Spider- Man 1-2, both Hulk movies, both Avengers movies and Iron Man 1. Oh, and I also saw the first half of Guardians of the Galaxy in school. XD

All Spider Man movies except for the one that's supposed to be released in 2017 belong to Sony, and all X-Men movies plus Deadpool belong to Fox. Except for these, all marvel movies share the same universe and continuous timeline with each other, such as Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, GotG etc. This is also why things like The Avengers and Captain America Civil War can happen. When I talk about Marvel (at least in a Disney context because Disney owns Marvel which actually makes it own the other brands too and aaaaahh it's all so complicated), I usually refer to these films, not the ones that belong to other companies. And this continuous story which all of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movies share is actually pretty damn intriguing!
