I draw the wet part of the nose first. Note that you usually can't see the chin when the mouth is closed. Depends on the angle, too, of course. Not much else to it than that. Just a lot of mileage, I'd say. Look at a lot of Nick Wilde for reference, see how his snout changes depending on the angle and expression. Also look at a lot of artwork from Cory Loftis and Byron Howard, amazing artist with huge part in Zootopia as a project.

Nope, literally just one-time doodles, although the swift fox was heavily inspired by this: . I wouldn't even know about swift foxes if not for Wodah xD Any suggestions? I might get attached to them and do more than these in the future.Β
