I used to watch the series some years ago on TV and I loved it. But sadly it was mostly broadcast when I was at school, so I never managed to see all of it.
And now I only find the movies to watch.
Could you tell me perhaps, please, what the series's title is in English?
I only know the German one as "Reiter von Berk" and the title "Dragons" seems to only refer to the movies, but I want the series.
Anyhow, it looks real beautiful and you got a cute toothless, there. :3

Every season of the series has a different name I think. First season was called "Dragons: Riders of Berk", second was called "Dragons: Defenders of Berk", third was called "Race to the Edge", from then on I don't know. I think they stuck with that name.
I never really cared for the series actually. The first two seasons were stupid fun, and I hear the writing got better with Race to the Edge, but... compared to the movies they are just very mediocre. Now you don't need to compare them to the movies of course but to me it always feels like a huge break in terms of quality, even to the christmas special "Gift of the Night Fury"

It's more likely you saw Riders of Berk though

Tthis is so well done!! I love it!! I'm definitely starting to see what you mean by the character residing in the drawing style itself. This is still your own style, but it is also Hiccup and Toothless as well.

Awesome! That is exactly what I am going for! I don't want my characters to be defined by my style. A lot of Manga has that "problem" I think - that the characters are defined so much by the style that they are drawn in that they would be unrecognizable if you were to draw them in another style. Just an observation, doesn't have to be true xD I only know that Manga characters don't work in my style AT ALL, but that might be my style's fault, idk xP

Maybe lol i know certain managa characyers i have a tough time drawing because of the style. But give me Naruto and Bleach, and I'm pretty decent at that XD

Bleach actually has a fairly compatible style, I'll give you that! Tite Kubo seems to be more keen on actually drawing the eyes in a way that they would fit into the form of a skull, for example. That's pretty unusual for manga. I know Ulquiorra is remarkably easy to capture in my style, at least to a certain degree.

Yep!! I actually took a page out of your book and practiced the paws. You're actually one of the artists whose style I admire, and I really like how you draw their paws. I was at work, and doodled in my free time, and they came out well once I figured out what i was missing, sonce I couldn't use a reference. Got in trouble for looking at Nick expressions prior on the computer, so i jad to do it from memory 😅

It's the ones where you were showing how the shoulders of Zoots are different than humans, and their arm and hand hand structures as well. Still finding my style, but those helped a lot. And it's an expression
