Wow, you draw INSANELY well!!
Have any tips for a beginner artist, without money to get a tablet, who is stuck with MS paint and her sketchbook?

Thanks a lot!Β
You can definitely start learning on paper just as well as digitally. In fact, I usually encourage people to draw traditionally more, even when they do have the resources to do digital. You can learn all the fundamentals of drawing with a pencil on paper, a solid internet connection and a lot of time. The toughest part for most people is just how SLOW art improvement is. It takes years to get to a solid skill level when you're starting from scratch. Only thing I can tell you is that that does not make you worse at improving than even the most professional artists out there (and I'm certainly not one of them), they've just spent a couple of years more on improving in art than you. Overall, I think its important to learn to enjoy the ride. Because otherwise you're gonna end up discouraged. If you love learning new things about art, regardless of how good your actual drawings look, then you're already pretty well off, because that makes you constantly gain more motivation to improve! I hope that rant was helpful. x3

I like the elongated hand action you did here

Yeah! Still not sure if I should do more humanoid hands with opposable thumbs, enabling our woof to hold things, or more beastly claws that fit with the "more animalistic anatomy" theme I have otherwise. What do you prefer?

Honestly, I haven't found my favorite woof design yet either. Lately I am kinda enjoying the creepy thin and long fingered hand design they used in The Howling, but I also have a newfound fondness for the old-school Woofman style.

Thanks! Lines of action are super important for that. I actually think I could make this one a lot clearer by arranging the arms differently, but for that I would have to redo the hands, and I really liked how those hands turned out xP
