Something more recent, this one was finished back at 16 Apr 2023. I rarely make elaborate backgrounds, but here I think it came out fairly well without being complex c:

During spring, it's cherry blossom season for most of Japan. It's a common custom there to sit under the sakura trees during this time and admire the flowers while having a picnic, this is called 'hanami'. I imagine the same applies to Pokémon's Japanese regions! 🌸

Kenji and Ryoko may have a long journey ahead of them, but it's still good to rest and enjoy the little things every once in a while. The meadows of old Hisui or Johto are calming spots for tea 🍵🌳
