I really like these. Any chance of ever seeing one of .eps format? That one is always a tough one to find.

plus - it's a bit tricky with the 128x128 .ico files, would you please upload a 256x256 version ?
sincerely

Hey monolistic, first off - great job
but - the linked manual link you gave is a manual for changing the shortcut/folder icon,
as far as I understood - changing a file (type) icon is a bit trickier -
you can find a decent explanation in the following address :
[link]
* notice the download button - it's linked to a program that automates the regedit changes
(for anyone who doesn't know his/her way around pc's - it's a good program to use)
have a great day

Absolutely, if it ever get to that, ill take that up with you first. I have alot of other stuff myself so not releasing it public would probably save me some time aswell
Great! Would love if you took time to add the icons, will be checking your profile often now on then

Wow, quick reply!
Its personal at the moment, but could give you some screens if you want to?
Small description: Its written specific for the Gene6 FTP Server, it allows the ftp users to change their password, view stats and browse the FTP.
The browsing of the files are done directly on the computer by reading the allowed paths from the FTP server.
Thats the reason its not public (yet?), it only works with a specific server, but i havent decided yet, if it works well i will probably make it public

If or when you make it public can you make sure you seek my permission to use the icons first.
I don't mind you using them for a personal system, but public use is a whole other matter that I prefer to discuss and work out a license of use - so both you and I don't get the wrong end of the stick. The license I grant the user when you download the icons (and agree to on use/download) only covers/allows for personal use.
In the mean time I'll look into adding the file types you requested. Though it may take a while - I've got a few projects running at the moment.

Really love all your icons, implemented them for use in my web based ftp browser, but i miss some icons, would love if you could take time to add a few, these are the filetypes i dont find icons for.
zip, rar, ace, 7z, mpeg, htc, db (for the thumbs.db files mainly), eml, sfv, url, also would love to see an icon for unknown filetypes (like windows does when it doesnt find a icon for a filetype.
Maybe you dont work on these icons anymore, if so, i would really like to know what font you are using, that way i could extend them myself (but not as good probably, my artistic skills are not top notch )

Is your web based ftp browser open for public to use or is it personal?

Hey mono ^_^ do you have m4a, mp4, mov, mp3, m3u, xpi, zip, rar, cda, wma, wmv, pls, ace, txt, ini, inf, sys, dll, exe, com, torrent ???
I'm trying to gather your collections to try on my computer (including all your folder sets) if that really is no problem with you. I must see how you'd render those.
If you don't know by the way, xpi is for the type Firefox Extension and I'm a hardened Firefox lover/user.

Sure I'll try and do those up.
I'm a Firefox fan too so *.xpi will definitely make it on the list
