Just some fun alternate evolutions for Pokemon who lose something special with their official counterparts.
And, well, an alternate form for Rotom, who hasn't really thematically lost anything, but it's a little strange how it's gone from a one-off post-game secret to a widespread power source for every electronic device except for TVs. To think people used to argue it was a Legendary Pokemon...

Rotom's original lore in Platinum stated that it required the object it possessed to have a motor (mind you that never explained why it could posses the oven) but they seem to have forgotten that.

I'm in love with the alternate Noctowl and Lanturn.
To think people used to argue it was a Legendary Pokemon...They did? I had no idea. I knew people used to think that Marill was going to be some sort ofΒ Legendary back before Generation 2 was officially released, but I hadn't seen anything about Rotom being at the center of similar theorizing.

Rotom being one of a kind, appearing at the end of the Pokedex, and having the Legendary battle music lead people to think it must've been one. Manaphy/Phione being breedable and Heatran having a random gender also led to a wider definition. Which I never agreed with, but at the time I could never think of a rebuttal.
