Description Because He's Tragic: Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin (Batman Returns). I feel bad for him because he got rejected by his own parents for being ugly and they threw him into the sewers where he was raised by penguins, it's not his fault he's essentially a human/bird hybrid.
Because Of His Mystique: Lo Pan (Big Trouble In Little China).
Because Of His Badass Factor: Vacendak (Freejack). Sir Mick Jagger, nuff said.
Because He's Alluring And He Knows It: Daryl Van Horne (Witches Of Eastwick), Jerry Dandrige (Fright Night 1985).
Because He Is A Badass: Gabriel (The Prophecy) and Hessian (Sleepy Hollow).
Because She's Adorable: Dawn Bellwether (Zootopia).  She's the cutest sheep character i've seen in anything, she's adorkable and very fragile but also you get the feeling she has been abused a lot given what happened to her.
Because She's Interesting: Queeny (Corbin Nash). First of all you know you are in for something special when you see Corey Feldman in the cast of your movie but...this is a very interesting role of his, since this character is technically a female or 'trans' one, the character of Queeny was male before being turned by Vince who became his lover and becoming female, and she is the most fascinating vamp ever since she is not only trans but she is bisexual.  Even if she is played by a dragged Corey Feldman, i'd actually consider dating her.
Because He Opposes The Protagonist Well: Grocer (Grosse Pointe Blank). Oh Aykroyd, my spirit animal. I'm obsessed with all things Aykroyd, every little thing Dan Aykroyd says and does fascinates me and I can't help but simp over him, even when he's playing. Grocer is the kind of character you'd see in a Tarantino movie, he's a psychopath but he's a psychopath that will invite you over for tea and a conversation, he wants to be your friend but you know he's probably up to no good...the scene at the dinner and the final shootout. Even though he's a bastard with a few screws loose I still find him irresistible and an amazing antagonist/villain.
Because He Has A Great Song: I had too many good choices to settle on just one...I so wanted to go with Gaston or Rasputin since both the 'Gaston' song and 'In The Dark Of The Night' are epic and infectiously catchy and not to mention the uber-sexy 'Toxic Love' from Ferngully performed by Tim Curry, but I went with an all time classic...Jareth. Seriously, Jareth's songs..in particular the hypnotic As The World Falls Down, the sorrowful Within You,  and the infamous Magic Dance that will put a spell on you. Trust David Bowie to make an evil goblin king sympathetic and oddly alluring at the same time.
Because He's Funny: Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice), and Hades (Hercules). Hades is a villain with a fun and comedic side to him, like he's a salesman or stand up comic whose audience is primarily dead people and he is oddly likable especially when you consider the actual mythical Hades was a good guy himself compared to the other gods.  He's one of the 'fun' villains for sure, I never got the hatred for Governor Ratcliffe, yeah he's flamboyant and campy compared to other villains in the Disney roster but he has a fierce side too and he does look good in those outfits, also Yzma and Kronk are hilarious. But Hades, that man is pure comedy gold.
Because Of The Conflict He Caused/Got Involved In: Randolph Smiley/Rainbow Randolph (Death To Smoochy). Robin Williams was definitely the type of comedian that no critic should underestimate, true...he played goofy and happy characters quite a lot but he played dramatic like no one else could and also had a dark edge to him.  Presenting the trifecta of dark!Robin roles...Insomnia, Death To Smoochy and One Hour Photo.  Insomnia has him as Walter Finch, a role that will definitely corrupt your 'Robin' files in your mind,  One Hour Photo will make you feel bad for him even though the character of Sy comes across as a stalker, and this movie...well, let's just say seeing someone that made so many people lighten up act as a completely horrible excuse of a person as in a shady ex-children's show host who ends up getting replaced by someone who is constantly optimistic and to go to extreme lengths to try and get back at his replacement...yeah, this isn't the Robin you're used to. Happy!Robin Williams is the type who will give you hugs and invite you over for a conversation. This is dark!Robin. Dark!Robin Williams is basically Jekyll and Hyde, one minute he's all welcoming and friendly and the next he's coming after you and he doesn't see you as a friend and you're  conflicted on whether or not you should help him.  This isn't the Robin you want comforting you when you're sad, this is the one you'd be conflicted on whether or not you should feel bad for him.
Because He's Fun  To Watch: Milton Dammers (The Frighteners). Good ol Jeffrey Combs.  Herbert may be everyone's favorite but let's not forget Milton, what an unforgetable character.  Right from the get-go you know there is something off about this character, from his black eyes to the scars on his body which he calls a 'roadmap of pain', his mannerisms to even little things like his haircut and how jumpy he is...you get the feeling that something must have happened that made him that way, something that triggered that...and that thing is all the horrifying experiences he went through.  He's so over-the-top and crazy, perhaps even more so than Johnny Bartlett, but yet you feel bad for him too.
