Description This is a special list i've come up with listing the different types of players/character types you'll come across in both tabletop RPG and virtual RPG,  each one is represented by a different person or character.

- Court Jester (this person serves as the comic relief,   they often crack jokes and sing silly songs depending on the situation). Represented by:  Ace Ventura (Ace Ventura 1 and 2).

-  The Thespian (This type of player knows how to get into character and blend in like a true actor does,  can be a bit hammy at times but overall a great performer).  Represented by: Linkara (Atop The Fourth Wall).

-  The Backstabber (this person plays a traitorous type who befriends the heroes but then betrays them later and sometimes attempts to kill off one of the other characters).  Represented by: Randall Flagg. (The Stand).

-  The Obsessive  (this one takes the game way too seriously,   can be a real drama queen and says the game means more to them than anything else).   Represented by: Pleakley. (Lilo and Stitch).

- The Rule Ogre (this one is by-the-book type,  always plays by the rules and knows all the rules and tries their best to alert others of them if one of the others breaks a rule or something).   Represented by: Annie Wilkes. (Misery)

-  Lord High Bloodsport (this one is the brute,   always portrays a barbarian or berserker -  likes nothing more than beating bad guys to a pulp and then making off with their gold or items).  Represented by: Danny Trejo.

-  The Cheater (this one likes to cheat A LOT,   sometimes when they do so they lie or accuse others of cheating as well).  Represented by: Brain Gremlin. (Gremlins II: The New Batch)

- The Tyrannical Dungeon Master (the one who is in charge of everything,  gives the heroes the specific orders on what to do and makes them suffer horribly if they mess up).  Represented by: Lord Farquaad. (Shrek).

-  Sir Logic The Dullard (the know-it-all who corrects other players if they make a mistake or if they get stats wrong which gets annoying at times).  Represented by: Otho Fenlock. (Beetlejuice).

-  Virtual Lech (The unpopular one nobody likes,   gets the least important job in the team and is usually picked last and is a pit of a loser).  Represented by: Chet Pussy. (From Dusk Till Dawn).

-  The Stoner (the one who always forgets what to do and goes into a deep trance-like state in the middle of play,  habits including slurring speech and forgetting things).  Represented by:  Titus Telesco. (I Still Know What You Did Last Summer).

- The girlfriend trying to impress her boyfriend (This one is only here because her boyfriend likes roleplaying games and she doesn't have any part in it but does it for her boyfriend).  Represented by: Leeloo. (Fifth Element)

- The Game Wizard (this one is great at winning but unfortunately has bad sportsmanship,   he has taken part in many battles and likes to tell everyone about them).  Represented by:  Tom Savini.

- The Observer (the really smart one who watches everything that goes on and studies up,  carefully picking up every nuance of the world around him).  Represented by: Abed Nadir. (Community).

-  The Simon Cowell (the critic,  is usually very brutally honest and isn't afraid to speak his mind but his insults have been known to break a few hearts).  Represented by: Well duh...Simon Cowell himself.  Please note that just because he's brutally honest to his team mates -  it doesn't make them evil.  See also his more violent counterpart The Angry Chef Ramsay.

- Mr Shady (the mysterious recluse,  usually plays the role of the Lancer in the group).  Represented by: Willem Dafoe.

- The Coward (this one is a bit of a wimp and always hides when a monster or other sinister force is near and is afraid of general anything that may attempt to hurt/kill/maim/eat him).  Represented by: Courage. (Courage the Cowardly Dog).

-  Mr Lucky (this one is blessed with unbelievable good luck,  he always gets the lucky saves and cool lucky items and wins just because he's lucky).  Represented by: Samwise Gamgee. (LOTR franchise)

- The Evil Genius (this person is always lawful evil, playing a villainous type and enjoying every minute of it,  he is rather crafty and also intelligent).  Represented by: Khan. (Star Trek franchise).

- The Musician (this one often plays a bard and writes and sings songs about the main heroes and their journey).  Represented by: Squidward Tentacles. (Spongebob Squarepants).  NOTE:  Also most likely to be criticized by the Simon Cowell.

- The Beast (this player always plays as a lycanthrope,   and depending on the alignment that lycanthrope is -   they will share quite a few similarities to the animal their lycanthrope is based on, also tends to be uncontrolable in werecreature form).  Represented by: Marsha Quist. (The Howling)

-  The Baldrick (a distant relative of the Igor,   serves as the companion to the Blackadder type and is usually quite dimwitted).  Represented by: Baldrick. (Blackadder series).

-   The Village Idiot (the total moron who doesn't know anything at all,  often makes many mistakes and blunders -  resulting in some of the other team members getting in more danger than they already are in).  Represented by: Homer Simpson (The Simpsons),  Peter Griffin (Family Guy) or post movie era Patrick Star (Spongebob Squarepants).

- The Dark Master (this twisted person is always on the side of evil and plays either a dark magic user or some kind of vampire).  Represented by:  Red Guy. (Cow and Chicken),  or sometimes any bad guy played by Tim Curry.

-  The Technical Cheater (a smarter version of the Cheater,   he/she cheats and then says it's because of a technicality).  Represented by: Mojo Jojo. (The Powerpuff Girls).

-  The Mentor (this type plays the wise old wizard type role and serves as the mentor to all the other players,  gives out helpful tips and advice).  Represented by: Gandalf. (LOTR/The Hobbit).

- The Trusty Companion (the type who plays a friend to one of the main heroes and is always there for them no matter what). Represented by:  Genie. (Aladdin).

- Mary Sue/Gary Sue (the type that loves to play the dumbass in distress, regardless of gender, and portrays them as having no technical problems but whining about them.)   Represented by: Too many examples,  but most notably Bella Swan. (Twilight)

- The Godmod (This is the antithesis of the Bad-Ass basically. Makes a practically flawless character.  And when accused of god-modding will accuse others of it regardless if the character has flaws or not) Represented by: Again..too many examples to go by...but here the role is represented by Mandark. (Dexter's Lab).

- The Walken. (A combination of the Evil Genius, Puppet Master, and Mr Shady.  He or she plays a supernatural creature such as a vampire, undead creature, arkane spellcaster or werecreature.  Often portrays said character in a manner similar to Christopher Walken. And you can never be sure who's side they're on.)   Represented by: Christopher Walken.

- The Bloodthirsty Hessian. (A combination of the Walken and Lord Highblood Sport, plays an undead creature - this variation of the Walken has them portray an undead or semi undead or vampiric character in a manner to Walken's portrayal of the Hessian in Sleepy Hollow, hence the name.  Dialogue for said character consists mostly of..."AAAAAAAR!" -  The Adventurer. (Always a curious and adventurous character who loves to go on adventures with his team mates).  Represented by: Bilbo Baggins (The Hobbit).

-   The Demonic Demi-Goddess. (A seductress type female character who is often partnered up with The Jafar,  The Benevolent God or The Dark Master,  a highly powerful and seductive most likely half demon or dark demi-godess type.  Much like with the God Of Tricks, she is allowed to be all powerful because while she has unlimited godly powers,  she's still flawed in several ways and isn't the God-Mod or Mary Sue/Gary Stu).   Represented by: Akivasha. (Kull The Conqueror).

-  The Outcast. (The character who is often excluded from most missions but proves themselves useful later on).  Represented by: Carrie White. (Carrie)

- The Unique One.  (This Character is in a league of their own,  nobody knows who and what they are,  but yet it's their own unique personality and traits and their own flaws that make them special,   he/she knows they are different from the others but is still considered one of the best players)  Represented by: Gonzo. -  The Not-Quite Human Character. (This character isn't human by any means...but is at least half human,  may be a human/monster hybrid as a result of something that happened to them or by birth).  Represented by:  Seth Brundle/Brundlefly. (The Fly 1986).

-  The Resilient And Very Confident Hero Type.  (A fearless hero type who is always confident,  and one of the few characters who resists mind control techniques performed by either The Puppetmaster,  The Jafar or The Walken).   Represented by: Brendan Fraser.

-  The Guardsman. (Stern, tough and often a guard.  He or she doesn't say a word but puts thieves in their place).  Represented by: Judge Joseph Dredd. (Judge Dredd)

- The Lethal Chef. (The character whose cooking is so awful it often results in the food becoming alive or attacking people,  most popular target/enemy of The Simon Cowell's counterpart The Angry Chef Ramsay).  Represented by:  The Swedish Chef. (The Muppets)

-  The Angry Chef Ramsay. (A counterpart to The Simon Cowell with the Berserker thrown in,  he or she mostly berates The Lethal Chef while The Simon Cowell berates The Musician).  Represented by: Gordon Ramsay.

-  The Undead Princess. (A female character,  sometimes of royal descent who is killed and resurrected as one of the undead.  Sometimes as either The Ghoul,  a zombie,  or a vampiress.)  Represented by:  Julie Walker. (Return Of The Living Dead III)

- The Ghoul. (An undead character who either died before the events of the game or is already undead to begin with,  sometimes serving as The Igor type).  Represented by: Beetlejuice. (Beetlejuice).

-  The Future Evil Queen. (A very dark and surly female character who isn't evil...yet,  but obviously has some evil traits in her.   Often a pseudo-sorceress or undead type).  Represented by:  Mandy. (The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy)

-  The Miss Perky Paula. (The opposite to The Simon Cowell,  she is high-spirited,  kind,  and very compassionate.  She is energetic and happy in a non-creepy way and often is a Fae,  Sprite,   White Mage,  Priestess,  or Muse type who cheers the others up.   Also constantly has arguments with The Simon Cowell or sometimes flirts with him.)  Represented by:  Paula Abdul.
