so this took forever.this is a closed, original species that rekenglas and i have been working on and we finally put together a reference sheet for the species
they're called Snarks. yes, you all already know i'm not clever. anyways,
you can read all about them here on this sheet, and there will be more to come about them as well but I' tired and will die if I have to add on more to this XD
so right off the bat Frosty and I are making two free openings for a custom one of these! it's first come, first serve, so if you're interested in a free custom of our closed species, comment and it's yours c:

It may be closed but we'll open these up soon as relatively cheap adoptables so please comment if you'd be interested in getting one!

I don't mean to come off as rude, but how is a shark-mermaid (or shark-taur) an original species? Is it just a bragging right and the name?

i mean yea in the simplest terms its a shark-mermaid, what makes it an original species is all the thought that is put into its traits and its cultural background/societal standards, etc. anybody can make a shark mermaid, but the whole concept behind it is hopefully what differentiates it for most people.

Ah, okay, that makes sense. I only asked because I've seen shark-mermaids in varies rps and then seeing one as a closed species seemed odd.
It's good that they have a cultural background and a social standards set up. I've seen at least 15 people claim that they are the creators of wolf/dragon hybrids and that they are closed species, but they don't give them any depth.

I totally see what you mean, and I'm certainly not claiming to be the originator of this kind of hybrid species! it's just this concept specifically and their social hierarchy and interactions that my friend and I spent many hours developing that make it a 'closed' species.
