Ochacca had seen some beautiful landscapes before but the wilderness that surrounded Imperial’s was breathtaking. From the very start of the Drag Hunt, Ochacca felt the call of the surrounding mountains beckoning her to explore. The dark emerald green of the forest was sporadically broken up with the golden hues of changing trees, and the grounds were littered with Fall leaves. It was a place that cleared Ochacca’s head and helped her feel refreshed. Ochacca was happy she had come here.

The Golden Hunt’s atmosphere had been welcoming from the moment she arrived with Kat and Thienna. She had the chance to meet many of her fellow riders throughout the drag hunt. Some were less impressive than others but that’s just the way Ochacca’s spoiled mind worked. None, however, were rude or disrespectful and she made sure that she did not come across that way either. Although she couldn’t help herself giggle a little with Kat when they heard the story of two of the riders ending up in the water unexpectedly.

The pace of the afternoon continually changed from an occasional lope to a slower paced side exploration with Kat. The girls couldn’t help themselves and took every opportunity to ride through a creek or a golden meadow. They made sure to never stray from the main body of the hunt so as to not get lost. As much as the wilderness beckoned Ochacca she knew it could be as dangerous as it was beautiful.

With the ‘fox’ being found the group began to head back to Imperials. The Sun had started its lazy descent behind the surrounding mountains and the result was breathtaking. Bright oranges and purples began to streak in the evening sky and Ochacca took the opportunity to ride up a ridge and see the sunset herself. Her breath caught in her throat as she took in the most amazing view she’d ever seen.

The air chilled quickly as the Sun continued lower in the sky and Ochacca quickly met back with the group knowing it wasn’t smart to stray in the dark. But she would hold to the mental picture of the beauty of Imperial's forever.
