Description

-Nocturna walks through the herd. The stars twinkled above them as she makes sure everyone is in line. Her agile body weaves through the sleeping mares and the foals close to them. Nocturna looked around… her blue eyes were heavy from sleep exhaustion.

-Talon stood up High and proud although it was a long day and he was also as tired as the herd but he had a job to do. Talon smelled the fresh cool air and as a light breeze swept his long mane away from his eyes. He couldn't believe the beauty that he had seen be for him .He made a cocky smile as he watched a beautiful mare for a while. Talon didn't want to be a creeper just watching her ...so he left for a little bit, seeking wild flowers that matched her eye color, and he did.

He picked the flowers' long stems carefully, and as she came into view once more he pranced up to her and bowed.

“These are for you mam'me "He looked her in the eyes with a friendly smile

-Nocturna jumped a little but smiled at the kind words and took the flowers from him. "Thank you soldier, these are absolutely stunning." Her voice was a little harsh but it's always been that way. Her long tail blew in the wind as she looked the stallion up and down. "You’re doing patrol tonight I presume?"

-Talon replied to the mare," your welcome “He stood tall...kind of over towering the mare. He didn't want to get to close to her because he didn't know her very well. It was their first time meeting. Besides that he didn't even know if she was singe or not. "You guessed right little lady" he joked while winking at her.

"I'm Stripped Talon just call me Talon for short ...May I know your name?" he winked again with a sweet voice. He noticed the harshness in her voice but paid no attention to it he was caught in her blue eye that reminded him of a sea after a storm.

-Nocturna looked at him with her piercing blue eyes watching him intently "nocturna... Pleasure." She bowed her head in respect and began to walk around him. Looking him over. "I'm sure your tired Talon... Walk with me..." She smirked once more,

-Talon's ears perked up and looked at Nocturna as she circled him. Talon put on his sexy cocky smiles and started to fallow the beautiful mare." If you don't mind I shall come then… And to speak of tiredness ... well I certainly am “Talon laughed.

-Nocturna chuckled "I'm sure if you would rather I can get your watch schedule down to a minimum if you wish" she smiled a sly smile as she began walking towards the edge of the herd. Her agile body weaving through the sleeping herd. Barely making a noise except for her mane and tail dragging on the ground.

-Talon smiled "Is that so? If so please I could use well some free time." His ears stayed perked as he fallowed. "So where are you taking me Miss?" Talon Asked curiously with a smile. "Is it somewhere important to you? or is it just a normal walk around the outskirts of the herd?" he curiously wondered. Talon never felt this way with any of the mares he seemed even happier. But he chose not to get to too close to nocturna. He still fancied the idea of him with her.

-Nocturna chuckled "I'll talk to the king about your work load and see what I can accomplish. And as for our walk it's just a normal walk. I tend to not bother the sleeping." Her eyes glanced back at him to make sure he was following. She nickered lightly and began to trot

-Talon chuckled and began to trot next to her and as he did he placed the blue flower that he picked in her long hair next to her ear. Talon wished it was day time so that he can neigh loudly of happiness. Since he had gotten to The night watcher her this would count as the most fun that he has ever had. instead of neighing he nickered softly at Nocturna."im sure the king would consider"

-Nocturna looked at him "well you haven't fooled around in your duties have you?" She smirked and stamped her hooves, "I'm sure vlad might consider you one of the good high guards and not one of the many corrupted...." She snorted at the thought

Talon laughed at the though of him being corrupted his home herd was corrupt and he didn't want to be like them " Well no i take my job seriously... yes i joke around here and there but not when its not a serious matter. when it is serious that joker side of me in no longer in existence." Talon said with a serious tone. "anywho Where are you from? were you born in the herd?" Talon asked Nocturna Curiously.

-Nocturna sighed her voice had grown cold "no unfortunately not. My mother wandered until I was older. She used me as stallion bait to get into tightly knit families so she could be happy.... I ran away at the age of 15..." Her eyes dropped to the ground "but that is when I came to this herd and was happy.. I don't know what became of my mother and never will." She laughed. "I guess that's why many high guards do not wish me queen." She puffed out her chest and looked at him.

-Talon Looked at Nocturna and walked close and nuzzled her cheek. ”I’m sorry...no mare or filly should be put in that situation." he looked at her seriously in the eyes " As for me i was Exiled from my herd...haha bad ass right? Well... not really: Talon's head dropped as he sniffed the grass. "You see long before i was thought of ,My herd fell heart broken and depressed. Their Lead was growing old and could no longer Hold down the herd. the current stallion that exiled me killed the herd's leader in a fight for the herd. They fallow him now as we speak My mother and Father were the only ones who cared everyone else they thought i was to different, to happy, too playful. I wasn't depressed and as serious as they were. it drove me mad. Once i confronted the problem the stallion chased me away and exiled me. it took me some years to find this herd but ...HERE I AM " he laughed at the last sentence. "Nocturna I am Honored to get to know you."

-Nocturna blushed lightly "actually I'm his mate... We are to be betrothed soon" she shook her head and smiled at him. "Surely you know I will be traveling for the king a lot. I wish for you to accompany me when that time comes" she smiled bright

-Talon Bowed As he smile "id be honored to fallow you My Queen" He chuckled with the new name he had given Nocturna. "Till the end" He chuckled "and Congrats to the marriage" Talon Congratulated.

-Nocturna chuckled "why thank you talon" her cold heart opening a little. "You'll be a good friend to me." She watched him curiously to see his reaction to her kind words

-Talon chuckled "Your most welcome , My Queen." He sighed whiled smiling at Nocturna "You wanna know something?" He asked but he didn't wait for a response."I really like you.But i know now that you're taken and well when your weeding comes id like to be well your best man, also as your best friend." Talon said as he opened up his feelings to Nocturna. "I have some friends but we never bonded like this. My friends i have talk to me and all but we never had time like this." He smiled" Im glad that i met you. "He came close to her and as he did. He could smell her sweet sent as he hugged her. "Will you watch the sunrise with this high guard?"
-Nocturna eyes widened and looked at him "of course you can be by my side at the wedding. If the king allows it I'll make you my bodyguard" she smiled warmly. "Yes of course I'll watch the sunrise with you."

-Talon Smiled then bowed he could see Nocturna blushing but he paid no attention to it. he laughed in his head Talon's thoughts screamed at him to love her but that he knew wouldn't happen besides his role was to protect her "Well MA ‘me id love to be your personal body guard" he smiled "Well we all know that I’m a hopeless romantic now ha-ha. But I’m sure I’ll find someone “Talon Grinned widely at Nocturna. Talon laid down and as he did he could see the dark sky turning pink and orange. "So pretty..." Talon looked up at Nocturna and asked “Will you come relax? The sunrise is a beautiful experience.”

-Nocturna walked over to him and laid down next to him. Her tail laid around her as the pinks and orange colors dances over her almost white blue eyes. "I never seen the sky so bright.. It's stunning." She smirked and shook her mane; it covered her full neck and laid beautifully on her face.

-Talon laughed "maybe the gods and goddesses are happy we met” he winked at her

-Nocturna laughed "Bellum guide our friendship..”
