Talon stocked around the castle his mind wasn't realm set in the right place. He felt broken and alone. Talon tried to smile at the herd member that ran to him to talk to him but no words came out. He was pissed off as well he had no idea what to do. Talon noticed a mare in font oh him she wasn't really paying attention. She too seemed to be lost in her world. She was a pretty mare and he was attracted. “Hello" he said as he came closer with a nicker. It was soft but you could tell that he was hurting

Sugar nearly jumped out of her skin hear the voice “oh hello you gave me a fright" she smiles at the stallion. “Are you alright?" She asked watching him looking for any signs of wounds.

Talon smiled with a soft chuckle "I'm sorry I scared you. And I'm ok" he said he noticed that she was checking for injuries. "I've only have these scars but these at old" he sighed. “It’s just girl problems." He half smiled at the mare.

Sugar sighed “well relationships are a big problem in our herd apparently". She looked around before whispering “what happened? “She was curious about his girl problem maybe she could even help

Talon sighed “she’s failing to see who truly loves and cares for her." Talon dropped his head. "Should I move on?" He questioned her and himself. "It’s impossible for her to love me after the king. He took her to the lake and the light of the sunset lit the lake up. It was crystal clear. You could see the fish that lived there. “Here it is." he watched her reaction and she seemed relaxed and mellow. He liked when mares where clam around him they seemed more accepting.

Sugar smiled standing next to him “this place is beautiful “she say taking in her surroundings.

Talon laughed and he smiled. They watched the sun set when the final rays of sunlight disappeared behind the mountains Talon looked at Sugar and got up. "After you my princess" he bowed his head and urged her to go first. “Fallow close." He ordered with a soft smile.

Sugar trotted back over to the living quarters. She was staying close to him like he asked.

"Make yourself at home." He said as they walked through the doors. Talon went to prepare the food he was thinking something healthy. He later severed her Merlot, which was a soft and easy drinkable red wine. The flavor he chose was plum it fired nicely with his fruit salad. And on another plate he served her two fresh carrots: With a desert of cherry cheesecake." I hope you will enjoy it." He smiled. “you are the first mare to have dinner with me so sorry it I act a little weird." He chuckled

She smiled “it looks wonderful dear." She kissed his cheek and took her place at the table

Talon smiled and kissed her back then took his place he waited for her to take the first bite before he started.as she took the bit he could tell that she was pleased “do you like it?"

Talon finished his wine and looked at Sugar. a fire burned for her but he was unable to tell her it. He hated being turned down. "I’m glad it surely was a new thing for me." he smiled.

Talon Blushed and then kissed her cheek. he had gotten out of his seat and playfully attacked sugar making her fall on her back talon was on top "I’d like to have a 'stable' relationship with you" he joked then kissed her cheek but it was the truth he wanted to have her for him before she was stolen from the foul king.

Talon then Smiled as his eyes widened "REALLY?!?" he got excited.

Sugar giggled "good night love" she says heading to her room

"Good night my goddess." he nickered as she left him he retired to his room and then fell asleep she was in his dreams. But then he feared that nocturna would become sad. But after all she didn't love him the way he dreamed of. Sugar was a fine mare for him she made him happy. He wanted this to work and he would defend his feeling for her. Sugar after all didn't turn him down.

Sugar wakes in the morning and gets ready for work. The king seems to have acquired more mares who have fallen head over heels for him. She never got it she never saw him as a handsome stallion he is simply her leader. She on the other hand was falling in love with Talon and fun and loving stallion she hoped that his first love would not be a problem if it did well who knows.

Talon woke early as normal and guarded nocturna she often asked what was on his mind but he just replied with nothing really. Which in reality he was thinking of his newly girlfriend and his heart was warm with love for the mare. When talon got off work he went to put his gear away. He noticed Sugar heading to his place. "Sugar!" he yelled in excitement and then trotted up to her. "What are you up to?” He questioned

Sugar smiled "nothing just got off shift how is Nocturna?" she asked

Talon sighed "she’s still hurt... she’s not doing too well."

Sugar followed "so want to go to the border?" she joked knowing the border was not a good place to be one wanders are there and often stole people two other herds guards were there and it could start something.

“If word leaks to their king there will be a war and we would be considered as spies." he explained in a low whisper.

Sugar stifled a laugh "I’ve been coming to border since I was a teen nothing has ever happened" she says

Soon the stallion walked over to the edge of the night watchers border and smirked at Talon "little colt protecting his filly how cute"

"Sugar... run to my home!" he ordered her. Talon kept eye contact on the stallion. "I am No colt and she is no filly." he snarled at the stallion.

"So how much do you really like me?" he questioned. He knew the answer but he wanted to hear her say how much or even if she loved him yet. He continued with his playful ways and stuck his tongue out at her.

Sugar kissed his cheek "to the moon and back" she replied

The creatures growled then lunged at him. He was right "sugar stay back!" The wolf's jaw latched on his back ankle he then turned and bucked up and the wolf went flying backwards. "looks like mr wolfie picked on the wrong horses" he growled. The wolf snarled and snapped at Talon. He then charged the wolf he was going to protect his own and he was going to kill the damn wolf or he was going to injure. It so badly it'll limp away.

Sugar of course didn't listen and proceeded to help talon defeat the scary wolf. She snapped at it catching and good bit on its tail.

Talon smiled inside and this is why we are perfect together he thought. He picked the wolf up by his throat and then slammed the wolf on the ground. The wolf became unconscious. He whimpered away and never returned now knowing to never mess with a night watcher.

Sugar breathed heavily “you… Okay?" she said in between breaths she nuzzled his neck then checked him over for wounds

Talon neighed as the rabid wolf disappeared. "I’m ok but the mother fucker bit my back left ankle." he complained

Sugar looked it over "that’s not good let’s try and hurry back home" she said and helped him brace himself

Talon sighed. His plans of course didn't go as planned. "Alright your right, my lady." he said as she helped him walk. The damn wolf got him pretty good. He kissed her cheek as they headed back.

Sugar aided him but knew something was much more wrong. She worried like every mare would over her stallion. She flinched every time he did "I love you talon" she said and kissed his cheek really worried now.

Talon noticed her worried reactions. "I’ll be fine I promise. i just need to get to my med kit." talon didn't want his ankle to get infected. His ears perked when she said the "L" word. "Ha-ha good... cuz' I do to." he said as he kissed her.

The two eventually made it back it was almost dark by the time they had arrived. She quickly ran to get his medical kit.

Talon trudged to his bed. "It’s in the bathroom." he explained. Talon laid down and waited for his goddess to return.

Sugar soon returned and dressed his wound "there… shouldn't bleed anymore" she said and lied next to him

Talon smiled. "I’m yours forever my goddess." he said with smirk and then kissed her soft lips.

Sugar smiled and kissed him back happy he was better

Talon rested his head and drifted to sleep.

Sugar smiled. “I’m glad you’re here in our herd now "she says kindly

Talon smiled. "You are very kind... and very beautiful, sugar" talon said softly he had no idea why he said that but usually most thing he say is truth. "Ha-ha sorry if that um bothered you."

"Thank you "she blushed a little. “You’re sweet for saying that"

He can close to her and kissed her on the cheek. “I’ll always be sweet to you sugar." He said humbly

Sugar blush reddened “same goes for you mister Talon “she smiles

“Ha-ha thanks." he kissed her cheek again and smiled at her.

Sugar lowered her head "don’t mean to make a happy moment sour but what about your lady love?" I whisper looking up at him.

Talon put his head down his heart broke slowly “Everyone has been right…Shell never love me. She’ll always love King Vladimir "Talon looked at the mare and smiled "but besides... new love will come always until the right person is at your side. “He stared into her eyes. “It started with a friendship and mutual feelings" he told her. “Yes shell is my queen forever because it’s my duty to protect her and when I have a lover she’ll be my goddess."

Sugar smiled and kissed him. "You’re better than the king.” she says softly.

Talon chuckled loudly. “What makes you think that? Miss Sugar?" he smiled wide and happy. no one ever said that about him he wondered if she was growing feeling for him, Talon kissed her cheek before she started to explain herself.

Sugar giggled. "Because you’re nice and you don't seem like the type to cheat on his mare.” She replies “plus you’re very open with your feeling and I like that" she smile “it also helps that your handsome"

Talon blushed and his face turned pinkish red. "why thank you." he said" you're very cute too" he admitted and the shyly kissed her. The sun set's powerful light ray bounce off the water.

Sugar nestled up next to him and watched the sun finally set “we should get back before they miss us.” She says

He liked her close to him "and go where miss?" he smiled. "To my place?" he questioned.

Sugar giggled “no silly back to the herd it’s getting late and I have guard duty in the morning” She says

"Ha-ha funny I was playing. Yeah I know. Come, come.” He said as he headed to the herd. "What would you like miss?" he said to her in a soft voice as they got to the herd.

Sugar yawned after getting to the herd “sleep sounds wonderful goodnight.” she kissed him before heading to her area with the other mares

Talon smiled and happily pranced to his room. He couldn't sleep of course because she was racing through his head. He wanted her beside him in his day but maybe down the road he thought. Morning came quickly when he drifted off to sleep. He woke up and he got ready for the day. He spent most of the day doing his job as a high guard. Later her waited by the lake to watch the sunset again. He hoped that sugar would come to watch as well.

Sugar prances through the day happy and returns to the lake. "hey, handsome.” she catcalls him as she walks up next to him.

Talon jumped and then looked at the pretty mare that walked behind him. When he looked at her his heart skipped a beat then he became blushing "hey sexy." he catcalled back at her as she came closer he kissed her cheek. "How was your day miss?" he questioned with a smile

Sugar kissed him back. "Good same od same old how about you?" she replied

He smiled "not much just had a lot on my mind.” he said as he drank from the fresh water and then looked up at Sugar. I made you something. He handed over a silver band, bracelet that he had made for her.

Sugars eyes lit up "for me? You shouldn't have "she gasped putting on the jewelry and watching it shine in the evening sun "thank you is very pretty "she acclaimed and hugged him.

Talon smiled and hugged her back. "Well I like you so I thought I’d make you the bracelet" he explained shyly with a smile

Sugar continued to look at it amazed anyone would give her a gift "well I like you to Talon." she leaned against him and nuzzled his neck watching the sunset

Talon nuzzled her back. He liked the feel of her leaning on home to watch the sunset. He smiled at Sugar and the kissed her but instead he kissed her lips. He caressed her face he hoped she would give him a chance.

Sugar turned a shade of red but she didn't care she liked this stallion and that night was filled with thoughts of talon

Talon smiled at sugar. Her white face made it easy to see her blushes. "Cute" he complimented her. He kissed her cheek once more. "Do you have plans this week?" He questioned her.

Sugar shook her head no

He laughed. "Then I'm going to steal you and we will have dinner in the high guard's lobby." He smiled as talon looked at sugar.

Sugar bowed her head. "I would be honored.” she says in a fake British accent then she laughs unable to help herself

Talon laughed and he smiled. They watched the sun set when the final rays of sunlight disappeared behind the mountains Talon looked at Sugar and got up. "After you my princess" he bowed his head and urged her to go first. “Fallow close." He ordered with a soft smile.

Sugar trotted back over to the living quarters. She was staying close to him like he asked.

"Make yourself at home." He said as they walked through the doors. Talon went to prepare the food he was thinking something healthy. He later severed her Merlot, which was a soft and easy drinkable red wine. The flavor he chose was plum it fired nicely with his fruit salad. And on another plate he served her two fresh carrots: With a desert of cherry cheesecake." I hope you will enjoy it." He smiled. “you are the first mare to have dinner with me so sorry it I act a little weird." He chuckled

She smiled “it looks wonderful dear." She kissed his cheek and took her place at the table

Talon smiled and kissed her back then took his place he waited for her to take the first bite before he started.as she took the bit he could tell that she was pleased “do you like it?"

"yes indeed its nice.” she smiled

Talon smiled "great! I’m glad you like it" he said the ate from his plate

She soon finishes and smile "that was delicious"

Talon finished his wine and looked at Sugar. a fire burned for her but he was unable to tell her it. He hated being turned down. "I’m glad it surely was a new thing for me." he smiled.

"So was this a date?" she smirked

Talon laughed "well if you consider it that so be It." his smile spread across his face.

"Then this was a nice date" she smile

Talon Blushed and then kissed her cheek. he had gotten out of his seat and playfully attacked sugar making her fall on her back talon was on top "I’d like to have a 'stable' relationship with you" he joked then kissed her cheek but it was the truth he wanted to have her for him before she was stolen from the foul king.

Sugar smile "I would like that very much" she kissed him

Talon then Smiled as his eyes widened "REALLY?!?" he got excited.

Sugar laughed "yes talon" she says

Talon smiled he was glad to pull that pick up line. "Yay!" he smiled. “To be honest I would think you would’ve said no." he smiled and kissed her. But this was no small kiss he made out with sugar. She tasted sweet and he liked that. After all it suited her name. "I have a lot of feelings for you my goddess." he explained to her.

Sugar kissed him back "can you please get off of me?" she whispered

Talon stuck his tongue out and got off his first girlfriend. “Of course my goddess" he said and bowed. He kissed her as she got up.

Sugar giggled "good night love" she says heading to her room

Talon Smirked and nickered at her "no kiss goodbye?" he joked in a cute way

Sugar laughed "I think you've had enough excitement for today" with that she leaves

Talon gave her his best puppy dog face with a quivering lip he even batted his eye "Buuuuttt~ pwease?"

Sugar kissed his cheek "goodnight, Talon" she says before leaving

"Good night my goddess." he nickered as she left him he retired to his room and then fell asleep she was in his dreams. But then he feared that nocturna would become sad. But after all she didn't love him the way he dreamed of. Sugar was a fine mare for him she made him happy. He wanted this to work and he would defend his feeling for her. Sugar after all didn't turn him down.

Sugar wakes in the morning and gets ready for work. The king seems to have acquired more mares who have fallen head over heels for him. She never got it she never saw him as a handsome stallion he is simply her leader. She on the other hand was falling in love with Talon and fun and loving stallion she hoped that his first love would not be a problem if it did well who knows.

Talon woke early as normal and guarded nocturna she often asked what was on his mind but he just replied with nothing really. Which in reality he was thinking of his newly girlfriend and his heart was warm with love for the mare. When talon got off work he went to put his gear away. He noticed Sugar heading to his place. "Sugar!" he yelled in excitement and then trotted up to her. "What are you up to?” He questioned

Sugar smiled "nothing just got off shift how is Nocturna?" she asked

Talon sighed "she’s still hurt... she’s not doing too well."

She nodded "poor girl"

"Indeed miss" he replied. He then kissed her cheek.

She smiled "walk?" she asked

Talon smiled "Why not my goddess?" he questioned back and then started to walk. He knew that she would fallow.

Sugar followed "so want to go to the border?" she joked knowing the border was not a good place to be one wanders are there and often stole people two other herds guards were there and it could start something.

Talon laughed. "Sure." he smirked "sounds fun"

Sugar smirked and took off to the border

Talon laughed and caught up with her very easily

She slowed when they got closer to the border

Talon noticed guards up ahead and grabbed sugar. "shhhh~ see" he pointed with his hoof "Earthshaker guards."

Sugar nodded staying quiet the earthshakers looked so weird with their dull coats white markings

"If they see us we run like hell." he whispered.

"Why we aren't on their land ware on no man’s land" she replies

“If word leaks to their king there will be a war and we would be considered as spies." he explained in a low whisper.

Sugar stifled a laugh "I’ve been coming to border since I was a teen nothing has ever happened" she says

Talon giggled "I’m sure." he said "but in case it does happen." he explained. The bodies shuffled along the boards.

Sugar nodded

Talon smiled and kissed Sugar "you're perfect" he whispered

Sugar shushed him and walked on the edge of the trees

"What are you doing!" he said but kept quiet

Sugar watched as a jet black horse walked in between the borders. She had never seen any horse pure black no color at all.

Talon quickly got in front of them he wasn't going to allow another stallion to take his goddess. He laid his ears back and snarled a bit.

Sugar ducked her head underneath his neck as the stallion turned his head to watch them and on his face was a skull marking like hers.

Talon laid his ear back and growled as he stomped his hoof on the ground. He didn't know this stallion's intentions.

Soon the stallion walked over to the edge of the night watchers border and smirked at Talon "little colt protecting his filly how cute"

"Sugar... run to my home!" he ordered her. Talon kept eye contact on the stallion. "I am No colt and she is no filly." he snarled at the stallion.

Sugar stayed put looking closer she saw the greying of the stallions face which he was older. The stallion chuckled "to me she will always be a filly" he said

"Who are you!?" Talon demanded to know.

"Someone you should respect more" he yells. Sugar's suddenly realization of who the stallion was made her gasp it was her father

"Why should I?!" talon growled.

Her father chuckled again "look at her then back at me you’ll see why" he said

Talon did as he said then it dawned on him. "ahhhh." he started to feel bad."I’m sorry sir...i was only trying to protect your daughter..."

"You’re fine I must have startled you" he said "ah… I haven't seen my daughter since she was a foal because she stopped visiting the border" he adds

Sugar smiles and fills Talon in "when the herds separated my mother went with the king when she was pregnant with me my father and brother stayed with the earthshakers. When I was little I used to visit him but after 10 years you forget things" she say

Talon understood why she now wanted to come "ah I see…" he kissed her cheek and then looked at her father. He some had reminded him of his own father.

"Run along be happy and good luck with your 'god king'.” sarcasm dripping from his last two words. Sugar nodded and hugged her father and continued onto the border knowing no harm would come unless they crossed over the border

Talon smiled and continued on with Sugar.

"So now you know my history" she says

Talon smiled.” It’s in the past so don’t think about it too much think of~ " talon gave a quick thinking face "think of now." he said as he drew her close to him. His heart beat felt hers. He kissed her neck and made her close once more. his heart raced as he continued to kiss her up her neck and to her lips he notice her eyes closed and felt relaxed and sort of enjoy his kisses.

Sugar smiled and kissed him back happy to be near him "thanks for being my knight earlier all you need now is some shining armor" she rested her neck against his

Talon chuckled. "It’s my job, my goddess." he kissed her cheek. "I’m glad that you are mine." he whispered.

Sugar smiled "you too" she replied

"Let’s head back my love." he said softly and nudged her forward by her butt while nipping at her softly. When she looked at him weir he laid back his ears and smiled "wasn't meee~" he joked in a playful way

Sugar laughed and trotted back home

As they came into the view of the herd talon stopped and looked at Sugar. He smiled as he spoke "come spend the night at my place?" he asked sweetly

Sugar agreed "but no funny business" she added

Talon bushed. "ahh hahah umm no not until you want it." he winked at her with a cocky smile

Sugar laughed "you’re cute when you blush" she kissed him

Talon and Sugar headed into the castle. he noticed Nocturna looking at him while she stood next to Vladimir he sighed then smiled "looks like they are good now." they continued and they were being followed by them... Talon laid his ears back and ignored it. Once they got in his room he turned on his light and took his jewelry off and sanitized them. "Make yourself at home my Goddess he said. It was a little past midnight as he looked out his window.

Sugar nuzzled him "you okay?" she asked standing next to him

Talon turned to her smiling. “of course my darling." he walked to bed and go under the covers. "Come let me cuddle you to sleep." he looked at her while he laid down.

Sugar smiled and nestled up to him "good night love" she whispers

Talon smiled and kissed her on her cheek. "Good night darling"

Sugar soon fell asleep and woke up the next morning "Good morning” she says

Talon woke immediately with a jolt. He wasn't used to someone being in his bed along with him. Talon then was brought back to the world. He kissed Sugar "Good morning my love." he cooed in a sleepy voice.

Sugar giggled "sorry did I wake you"

"It’s ok" he rubbed his nose on hers. "I’ve got the day off." he explained he wanted to just cuddle with her all day

Sugar smiled and kissed his cheek "go back to sleep I going to look around if that's okay" she says

Talon smiled and kissed her cheek. He instantly fell asleep afterwards.

Sugar quietly left the room and walked around the castle she had never really been inside of it

Talon slept peacefully but he wanted her there with him but she was exploring and he didn't mind that.

Sugar trotted quickly back to the room and plopped down next to him and put her face underneath a pillow

Talon jumped awake and as he did so he fell off his bed. Grunting as he got back he noticed her head in the pillow. "Are you ok? What happened?" he said as he came over to her side of the bed to comfort her

Sugar mumbled and sighed "saw way too much of the king and his girls" she stuck my tongue out like a foal would after seeing their parents kiss

Talon laughed for a bit. " That’s Vladimir for you." the words slipped. "I don’t understand most stallions but him? ughhhh I don’t know." he said in a disgusted tone.

Sugar nodded "at least his mistresses like each other" she said

"And I like you." he smiled then kissed her taking them off the subject.

Sugar smiled "so what was wrong last night you got all gloomy staring out a window"

"Ha-ha oh that's a nightly Thing that I do." He giggled. “No worries.ok? I promise you I was fine. I just enjoy looking at the moon." He smiled. Then talon drew Sugar close and looked her in the eyes. Talon couldn't help being a helpless romantic.

Sugar smiled "good I was worried" she kissed him

Talon smiled. He was happy that someone like her was in his life. She filled him with joy. "You need not to worry my mistress. I’m perfectly happy." He said with a smile and gave her an eskimo kiss.

Sugar giggled "what do you want to do today"

"That is for you to decide ma'me" he said then kissed her cheek "What do you want to do?”

Sugar shrugged "I don't know"

Talon smiled then he thought maybe a walk to the northern lights later "Come my love lets go for a walk before Nocturna tries to bug Me." he chuckled and started to get ready for the day.

Sugar laughed and joined him on the walk

Talon smiled. He nuzzled her then continued on. they headed out of the castle and through the village and into the woods. Talon kept his eye out for anyone who was fallowing them but all seemed clear. Talon wondered in his mind but was talkative throughout the walk. He loves seeing Sugar smile. "So how much do you really like me?" he questioned. He knew the answer but he wanted to hear her say how much or even if she loved him yet. He continued with his playful ways and stuck his tongue out at her.

Sugar kissed his cheek "to the moon and back" she replied

Talons ears perked up and a smirk spread across his face "Really?"

Sugar laughed "of course you silly stallion"

Talon chuckled. "I just wanted make sure." he said as he rested his head on her neck.

Sugars ears flickered and she looked around she had heard a noise but soon dismissed it

Talon herd the same thing but he became more alert he didn't know who or what would come around the shrubs. So he go into his protective mode just enough to be ready. he laid his ears back and searched their surroundings. "Did you hear that?"

Sugar nodded "its probably a squirrel" she replied

His ears stayed the way they were. “or it could be something else." wolves roamed the woods so he might have to fight off a pack

Sugar looked the opposite way of him

Talon looked at sugar and kissed her "start close my love." He then walked forward and continued to be on his toes. And then he saw the glowing eyes from the shadows of the bushes. The creatures growled then lunged at him. He was right "sugar stay back!" The wolf's jaw latched on his back ankle he then turned and bucked up and the wolf went flying backwards. "looks like mr wolfie picked on the wrong horses" he growled. The wolf snarled and snapped at Talon. He then charged the wolf he was going to protect his own and he was going to kill the damn wolf or he was going to injure. It so badly it'll limp away.

Sugar of course didn't listen and proceeded to help talon defeat the scary wolf. She snapped at it catching and good bit on its tail.

Talon smiled inside and this is why we are perfect together he thought. He picked the wolf up by his throat and then slammed the wolf on the ground. The wolf became unconscious. He whimpered away and never returned now knowing to never mess with a night watcher.

Sugar breathed heavily “you… Okay?" she said in between breaths she nuzzled his neck then checked him over for wounds

Talon neighed as the rabid wolf disappeared. "I’m ok but the mother fucker bit my back left ankle." he complained

Sugar looked it over "that’s not good let’s try and hurry back home" she said and helped him brace himself

Talon sighed. His plans of course didn't go as planned. "Alright your right, my lady." he said as she helped him walk. The damn wolf got him pretty good. He kissed her cheek as they headed back.

Sugar aided him but knew something was much more wrong. She worried like every mare would over her stallion. She flinched every time he did "I love you talon" she said and kissed his cheek really worried now.

Talon noticed her worried reactions. "I’ll be fine I promise. i just need to get to my med kit." talon didn't want his ankle to get infected. His ears perked when she said the "L" word. "Ha-ha good... cuz' I do to." he said as he kissed her.

The two eventually made it back it was almost dark by the time they had arrived. She quickly ran to get his medical kit.

Talon trudged to his bed. "It’s in the bathroom." he explained. Talon laid down and waited for his goddess to return.

Sugar soon returned and dressed his wound "there… shouldn't bleed anymore" she said and lied next to him

Talon smiled. "I’m yours forever my goddess." he said with smirk and then kissed her soft lips.

Sugar smiled and kissed him back happy he was better

Talon rested his head and drifted to sleep.
