This is an eye-catching image, technically outstanding in terms of photo-manipulation and very well composed. Please see any critical remarks within this context.
The focal fire is in perfect bright contrast to the generally dark setting. The way the fire is bleeding along the ground towards each side is convincingly blended in. My attention is drawn towards the wealth of flammable material, the edge of which is being licked at by these small flames. That it is difficult to see exactly what is burning through the intensity of flames and smoke is probably intentional and is a great choice, allowing the viewer a broader latitude for individual response and interpretation.
Overall, the smoke, clouds, and especially the night-green (or oil-green) lighting of the sky above are a superbly presented setting for the focus. I particularly like the point of light contributed by the single star at top right. I do have two small issues with regard to the smoke, and the strange light, like a headlight, shining through the smoke/clouds above.
a) The column of smoke immediately above the flames has been blurred (motion?) just slightly too much for me (there is no blur in the source image).
b) The torch-beam-like light in the sky puzzles and distracts me. It is not present in any of the source images, and must have been painted in: therefore it means *something*. It could represent something like a military aircraft, or a UFO, which has just executed the destruction below, but there is no hint nor shadow of substance behind the light. It could be flaming debris, either from the initial explosion below, or from, say, a volcanic source (but in these cases I would have expected a curved tail rather than the almost straight line that we see). It could potentially, however statistically unlikely, be a falling meteorite, it's presence suggesting a momentarily earlier companion as the cause of the destruction. But none of these are an unequivocal answer, and I am left wondering. (Possibly, I'm too stupid to get it! Certainly, I don't believe that my skills are equal to those displayed here by MoodyBlue.)
The glow of fierce flame in both the centre of the image and suggested in the backlighting of the clouds reflect the destructive hell of the incineration of any occupants of the vehicle/s (my interpretation). That they are placed at what seems to be a junction is subtly suggestive of choices having been made - in this case a wrong turn taken has resulted in 'Destruction'.
Great work!

nice color and light...the green tinting is unusual and adds an otherworldly charm to your image...you did a nice job figuring out where the color of light from the fire should touch...regards....David
