I love that the boy fishing is the only figure. It adds such a tranquil, peaceful quality to the work. One can practically hear the calming rushing of the water or the call of the birds in the distance. Really captures the solemnity of being alone in nature with nothing but ones' own thoughts and a few fish to catch.

This reminds me of those atmospheric little scenes in those I Spy books I used to look at as a kid, so this gives me a nice nostalgic vibe as well.
