I absolutely love this piece. The boat is off-center and going against the direction the viewers' eyes usually travel, which keep out attention in the piece. I love the muted tones with the vibrant glow coming through - beautiful and intimidating at the same time. It's a haunting and intriguing painting - makes me wonder who's on the boat and what their story is. The boat itself seems alive - very special piece!
