Description So this is a drawing I did for grandfather for Christmas (do I do a lot of drawings for my grandpa or is it just me?...). I'm not entirely sure why my scanner decided that this was the day it would finally kill one of my graphite drawings, but it did and it has. I'm not very happy with how grainy it looks on the computer. Ah well. It looks nice on paper, anyway.
This took me a while, but I was watching a British murder mystery while drawing and it made the time fly better.
The reference for this came from my handy-dandy Spanish horse book, called "El Caballo Un Espiritu Libre." I'm sure some people have the English version. This one just happened to be on sale and the pictures are enough without the words. xD
Hope you like.

Despite it being grainy I still really love this.
I've had a thing for horses with long manes and forelocks (and tails) forever.
But, I also love the detail coming down toward the muzzle, and on the eyelashes.
Really, really nice!

Thank you so much! I've never quite figured out why this one turned out so grainy, but I suppose it works.
