Description
My grandmother is a survivor of many things, the most recent being breast cancer. She was always full of life, beautiful and a woman to be reckoned with but her battle with cancer seemed to snuff some of that joie de vive and part of her was lost. This picture was taken at an event following her last batch of radiation treatments. I had been watching her all day and suddenly she burst into uncontrollable laughter and I had to grab my camera. I showed this to her later to remind her of who she is inside, regardless of what happened on the outside and she was very touched. On an important side note, I really liked this photo because you can see how protective my grandfather is.Please note that my grandmother passed away on April 13, 2007

I have to say I am quite moved by not only the picture but by the story behind it. I feel most strongly about this because my mother has breast cancer. She had a mastectomy on December 18, 2015. She has almost completely recovered as of now. She also started her chemotherapy on March 1, 2016 for six months. Also, I am very sorry for your loss, my family has suffer many losses as well. The photograph shows true emotion and is truly beautiful. I cannot give you any less than five stars for the pure emotion in the amazing piece. Have a blessed day!

This photograph shows extreme emotion that can be everlasting for those who view it, especially you and your family. To see someone smile for the first time in what feels like forever is bittersweet, and I dearly love the meaning put into this photograph. Also, the way that you say in your description that you showed it to your grandmother to make her see that she is still the same on the inside was very heartwarming and I adore how the photograph just seems perfect, even more so once we as readers get to see the story.
May your grandmother rest in peace.

This piece is truly a picture of no words needed to prove, yes I'm using the dictionary meaning and yes I'm adding your loving grandmother to this if I may;
1. To establish the truth or validity of by presentation of evidence of her life, as proven in this photo.
2. To establish the authenticity of very strong will of your grandmother.
3. To determine the quality of life that she choose to live as example to all that knew her well.
You and your family are in my prayers, it is my hope that all turn out for the better.
In addition may I offer my congratulations on obtaining the DD (Daily Deviation)
Lastly, please allow me to offer my sympathies for your loss of your dear best friend, this too shall pass and know she's no longer in pain and suffering...
