You did a really beautiful job painting the rays! I love the crisp edges you have for them. Did you use any special brushes for the shading on the mantas in Procreate? The blending looks so good!

Thank you bio! And I used the brush pen for all the shading and coloring for the manta rays. I used my Apple pen with the rendering on glazed as well ^^

wait RIP so brush pen, does that mean like a specific brush in Procreate? Or do you have a brush pen that's separate from your apple pencil?Β
I always have trouble getting a nice watercolory feel in Procreate so I'm really on the hunt for a brush that gives that, and your manta rays definitely show some good watery loveliness!Β

It's the name of an actual brush in the inking section! But for some reason I've found that some people don't have it but it's not a custom brush or anything so?

da transfers any images that don't have at least a single pixel of transparency to a jpeg automatically; people usually fix this y making one or two pixels transparent in the corner
