You're welcome, and thank you for making this wonderful code. It's quite beautiful.
I also had an issue with the sidebar area, which I see other people had trouble with.
For me it only works if I put the sidebar outside of the "content" area.

What content area are you talking about? If you're using the sidebar the code should look like this:

You have to use the content section as well if you use the side bar. Just paste them one after another in the main journal section.

I liked that this was clean and simple, and I collect spiral notebooks for my scribbles and stories IRL, too. This just fits my style. Thank you.

Yes we (club members and founder) do.
If you won't mind answering this one question. I was trying to modify it. I was trying to put a scrollbar in (newbie to css), but can't figure how to keep it on the left side and not in the center. How do I do that, if its not too much to ask?

I do apologize for not being clear. This time I'll try to put it simple. I'm not trying to be rude to you by doing that. I actually reread what I sent and I don't blame you for not getting it. I didn't even get it.
Your skin is of a notebook. It has 2 pages that you can write/post things on.
When I put the code in for the scrollbar/box, then previewed it, (at the location that I wanted it at)it was centered on the page. What I mean is that the entire scrollbar/box was covering both of the notebook pages, including the spiral img. Do you know how to keep the scrollbar/box on one side of the notebook so it still looks like a spiral notebook?

moonfreak In reply to Tryout1980 [2009-07-10 03:38:00 +0000 UTC]
Because of the way that the image for the spiral is coded you have to make a new class in order to get a scroll box. Add the following to the CSS (you can change the height to whatever you like):
.scrollbox {
height:300px;
overflow:auto;
padding:5px;
}
And then in the entry, it will look like this:
If you have any problems with that please tell me, because I just wrote that off the top of my head. It should work though.

When you open up a new journal entry you put the HTML in the "Content" section below the title. It should look like this:
If you are using a title in the main content section it will look like this:
