ONCE AGAINALE REDISCOVERS SOMETHING AND OBSESSES OVER IT
ok so I drew this like a week ago but I decided to finally submit it today. I started to watch Happy Tree Friends again and I wanted to draw them in my own style. I don't have all of the characters here but I drew some XD I need to draw Russell, he's one of my faves. But my favorite tree friend was always Flaky. I love Flippy and Fliqpy as well, but somehow I relate to Flaky on a personal level. So, she's pretty special to me.

True. I don't condone animal abuse. People who are capable of purposely harming a living creature are disgusting. But here's the thing: Happy Tree Friends is a cartoon. It's fiction and the animals come back to life in the next episode. It's almost like a continuous computer simulation that never ends. Same thing with violent cartoons with humans. I don't support violence in real life, and I think it's horrible. We live in such a violent world and so many people fall victim and it's devastating. But if a drawn human character is killed in a cartoon, it's fiction. It doesn't posses a physical entity. None the less, shows that show explicit violence and sexual themes are most commonly aimed towards an older demographic. Happy Tree Friends was never intended to be for young kids. I'm trying to make sense but I don't think I'm doing a good job at it.

Exactly! I love "Rick and Morty" and I when my dad finds South Park playing on one of the TV channels, he calls me so we can watch it together. I enjoy dark sense of humor. We all have a thin line of dark humor from what we enjoy to what he find a little unsettling. Most, if not, all of the deaths in "Happy Tree Friends" are so unrealistic and over-exaggerated and it seems like the characters are purposely being stupid just to give their deaths a reason. But we all have our own interests and our own opinions. I respect that.

Haha! I understand. Happy Tree Friends isn't for everyone and there are some scenes were I just look away or click on another tab because the deaths are so gruesome. But I've been watching this show for quite some time now. Like, 5 years at most. I still find a way to enjoy it.
