Description I prefer villains and dire circumstances for some reason. Between things like this and Fallout Equestria there's just something I like (villains are awesome).

An unsuspecting Applejack receives a visit from Fluttershy, in the middle of the night, while asleep. You might ask yourself "Which apple is she going to bite?", though I'm pretty sure she's insatiable and wouldn't really stop at just one.

Applejack keeps a barrel of apples under her bed you see, and Fluttershy can smell them.

If she regains her senses in the morning she'll repay Applejack for all the apples she takes, and probably get this sorted out again.

*As the weeks passed without sign of her attacker during her waking hours yet bites on her flank the following mornings, Applejack noticed her energy was beginning to return. One morning she awoke to discover her flank had no new scarring only to find most of the south field apples had been ruined in the night.*

(So is AJ now infected, or did Flutterbat change targets?)

MoonlitBrush In reply to alexwarlorn [2014-09-24 23:11:10 +0000 UTC]

(mysteries abound, however for the sake of accuracy what is happening to Fluttershy is part magic and part psychological, odds are a bite can't transfer it. Real vampires don't have reflections after all, and a mirror is how they defeated her, so it could be something else. The apples were destroyed, but I didn't say how. If applejack brings this up with Fluttershy then the truth may leak out about her nightly visits, but the culprit may be something else entirely).

what the hell is wrong with her left wing ..???

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

MoonlitBrush In reply to darrenbarren [2014-07-24 19:02:01 +0000 UTC]

'tis perspective, the wing bone curves forward while the skin and feathers is bent behind the wing. Picture some cloth with wind under it, one edge is rigid and unmoving while the rest floats around in the breeze. Depending on the direction of the wind the cloth distorts while the rigid edge, in this case the wing bones, follows its path. The other wing is doing the same thing which is why it has a shadow cast by itself near the top of the wing.

Aaaa now it makes sense. but to make it work wouldnt you see feathers coming off.??

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

MoonlitBrush In reply to darrenbarren [2014-07-25 12:15:45 +0000 UTC]

I stuck with the Flutterbat design, the lower part of her wings are feathers still (didn't think about it while watching the episode only noticed after looking for references).

darrenbarren In reply to MoonlitBrush [2014-08-19 17:52:11 +0000 UTC]

okay now that makes sense. and sorry that I took that long. now do you remember how long it took you to make it.?

I think a day and a few hours into the next? The background was annoying because there were no useful references for that angle.

yeah Flutterbat might go for the pillow, didn't think of that.

watergod159 In reply to MoonlitBrush [2014-07-24 18:01:11 +0000 UTC]

Oh then, there are more than that, who knows how many apples are on that pillow...

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

MoonlitBrush In reply to watergod159 [2014-07-24 19:05:24 +0000 UTC]

I could count, still have the references on here... hmm, about 14. the other side of the pillow likely also has 14, so 28. Then there are the apples the pillow is probably made from...

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

watergod159 In reply to MoonlitBrush [2014-07-24 19:12:56 +0000 UTC]

Six on her, 28 on the pillow, and one on the bed, so many apples...

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

MoonlitBrush In reply to watergod159 [2014-07-24 19:26:43 +0000 UTC]

Then there's the one on her bedroom door, in the topmost part of her room design, probably some apple books, the apple design at the foot of her bed...

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

watergod159 In reply to MoonlitBrush [2014-07-24 19:30:06 +0000 UTC]

But you can't see any of that here...

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

MoonlitBrush In reply to watergod159 [2014-07-24 19:38:09 +0000 UTC]

Correct. But that's different from knowing that it is there, if anything it suggests that Flutterbat is either only interested in real apples, or specifically Applejack.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

watergod159 In reply to MoonlitBrush [2014-07-24 23:50:55 +0000 UTC]

Depends on whether or not you like apples. While a little less talkative than Fluttershy she mostly avoids other ponies so you don't really notice her.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

The-Nuclear-Pegasus In reply to MoonlitBrush [2014-07-24 13:15:06 +0000 UTC]

I do like apples.

Besides, the Unwated House Guest I was referring to is this guy:

i.ytimg.com/vi/8f7C0OKfpE4/0.j…

And from the looks of this image, Flutterbat snuck into AJ's place to suck her blood, if her blood is apple juice (or eating her, assuming AJ is made of apples)

It's okay, I didn't really need to sleep tonight. Hence my name. Actually I'm lying this insomnia is killing me.

I would think this version of AJ has had one too many bedtime apples and I wouldn't fault Flutterbat for getting confused.
