Poor Derpy, she just wanted to do her best, make her friends smile, and now all her friends are gone.

Silver Bell was years in the future, and strangely resembles Derpys daughter who had grown into a good mare, in fact Dinky became the fire chief in another city.

Also, the reason for that is the bright green light would wash out the mark details.

Except that her delivery cart would block out the glow, casting it in shadow, which woudl also obscure it

The cart is blocking out most of the glow, which is why she's green rather than bright white. Also I wanted the lighting there because the focus needs to be on her and the explosion.
I could have angled the cart a bit more maybe.

It's based on the fanfiction Fallout:Equestria, though this is a part of the story that only had a few mentions rather than anything this deep. Cloudsdale was attacked first, then within a few hours the war was over and both sides had lost everything.
