To a point, there are two seasons worth of unaccounted additions that wouldn't work within Fallout Equestria. For one, Changelings. While I have a headcanon to make it work, the story itself treats everything past halfway through season 2 as if it didn't happen, so Changelings don't exist (in the story). They should though, Changelings are great and would have been a fantastic foe or ally in the war.

I wonder if her tail won't penetrate the cloud or if the piano will be enough to push through it anyways. Since pegasus can punch clouds I think the cloud would collapse under the weight so no harm done, few strands of tail lost.

The difference here being that it'll take a few dozen seconds to hit the ground and Derpy will probably just watch it fall in stunned silence.

You may note that I also copied the vehicle from this scene, since the version described in the story sounded similar enough to work.
The piano I took from a video of the one falling on Twilight, it took a while getting the frame where it's whole and in one piece. For something that's onscreen for maybe five frames it's quite detailed.
