Description One more Frieza race/icejin/Arcosian (they really need a canon name for Frieza's species) fan character.

Ryme is a piebald Arcosian as a result of a color mutation that is common among domestic Earth animals but very rare in humans and Arcosians.  I headcanon that Arcosians can sport most of the pigment mutations found in Earth creatures:  albinism, melanism, piebald, heterochromia, etc. but it’s still a rare occurrence for Arcosians to have any of these conditions so Ryme is kind of treated like a novelty.

Like Boreas, she's in first form here.  Hopefully I'll get around to drawing her other forms.

Thats looks quite nice! And a little disturbing, on the first few^^ But I like it!

So what exactly is this mutation? Never heard of something like this. Just curios^^

Piebaldism is a pigment mutation that causes irregular patches on the skin/fur/scales/feathers to lack pigment.  It's kind of like albinism only instead of the entire body being colorless, it's just in patches.

Isn't Frieza technically an albino Icejin

Even thought I have heard some claim that true albino reptiles are more yellow-ish, but still

He does kinda look albino but I don't think that's ever been confirmed.  The fact that his bio-gems are purple makes me think that he wouldn't be a "true" albino.

There are many different types of albinism in reptiles.  Some can be yellow or retain yellow or orange markings, and some can be solid white (though this is usually caused by leucism, another color mutation that's often mistaken for albinism).
