So I came up with another new therdaq subrace, and like the ground therdaq and abyssal therdaq, these guys are at their best when they're digging through the earth. Probably the most dragon-like of the subraces, sand therdaqs have a knack for mining, metalsmithing, and gemcutting and amass great hordes of treasure in their desert lairs. These therdaqs often associated with great human pharoahs and sultans in eons past and often traded priceless artifacts with them. In general, they don't breath fire (though they can learn to) but send out a wide range of sonic vibrations that can do anything from crumbling rock to causing earthquakes. They use this power to loosen the sand around them while they're burrowing, allowing them to swim through sand and soft earth as if it were water.
