Description Every so often I remember how much I love the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series and then I just gotta draw my favorite teams from over the years! If you really really dig through my gallery you'll probably find some old artwork of a few of these characters from... geez I don't even know, probably like 2010 or so.

Pokemon Red Rescue Team: Tilly and Nicko, the OG team! Back when I was even worse at video games, I think I had been trying to play through as some sort of fire type or electric type and just been getting decimated so I restarted in a huff and just went with the pokemon the quiz assigned me: Bulbasaur! I was not (and still not honestly) the biggest fan of bulbasaur but I really didn't feel like taking the quiz again and just rolled with it. I pretty much randomly picked Mudkip as my partner too, and honestly??? Probably the best type pairing I could have gone with, these two are what finally got me through the whole game and I still have a big soft spot for them.

Pokemon Blue Rescue Team: Scout and Atticus! Yes I had just read To Kill a Mockingbird at the time. These two were my do over as a "cute" team after I stopped being completely awful at the game. Also I had lost my Red Rescue Team cartridge so I upgraded to Blue :'D

Pokemon Explorers of Time: Sorri and Fritti, during one of the most memorable scenes in an already memorable game (and a secret hidden Grovyle)

Pokemon Explorers of Sky: Flanders and Yuki! I put way too much effort into this one, but Sky is the best game in the series and one of my favorite games of all time so I thought it deserved a little extra polish!

Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Juno and Tam! While this game had some really annoying pacing problems (seriously why did we spent so much time at that stupid school jesus) I thought this game gave the player character and partner the most distinctive personalities. And I also thought it was pretty funny that the player character mostly just thinks the partner is really annoying at first heh. I always felt like this game was trying to emulate the emotional gut punches of the Explorers games, but without fully grasping the scope that lent those games their emotional weight. But it did get me back on board after Gates of Infinity lost me so it gets points for that!

The Super Mystery Dungeon team that you had, only with role reversal. Still have yet to beat the epilogue, though - playing the ROM version is hard
