Hey everyone!

4th time I enter the PUPA challenge for the group ArtChrysalis , for which we all have the same reference photo, everyone creates their own artwork from it, and upload it on the last day of the month!!

So, this is the reference photo we had to use:

It is an amazingly beautiful photo, really, makes me smile and feel calm and relaxed

This time, I chose to use watercolors, because I wanted to practice light with them and when I started to think about how I would paint it, I added masking fluid and ink to my list so... I took the other part of the sheet I used for the February Pupa (my bamboo paper is a bit bigger than A3), sketched lightly, then used masking fluid to outline the trees, the most naturally possible, with little holes. After that I painted the washes: sky, grass and earth, used a paper towel for the clouds, then I removed the masking fluid, drew the trees with ink and finally added details with watercolors here and there... and voilà!!
